Lowfold nestles in the picturesque hamlet of Near Sawrey on the west side of Windermere commanding spectacular panoramic views over Esthwaite Water towards the Lakeland mountains. Near Sawrey is the home of Hill Top, once the home of Beatrix Potter and The Tower Bank Arms located in the village is a 2 minute stroll away. Walks are available straight from the door.
The property, which forms a semi-detached cottage, has recently been full refurbished in a contemporary style and offers full central heating. It provides 4 double bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities, lounge/ dining room with open fire and Shaker style kitchen with granite worktops. Each room offers breathtaking views.
Floors are a combination of oak and carpeted and furnishings are to a high standard, including Feather & Black, New Heights, Marks & Spencers. Bed linen and towels are provided.
There is a decked sun terrace for al fresco eating and enjoying the super views, as well front and rear garden.

The Cumbria/Lake District
The Lake District is the largest National Park in England renowned for its lakes and tarns. Lake Windermere is the largest over 10 miles long however there are 16 lales in total and over 500 tarns. There are numerous streams and spectacular waterfalls.
The Lakes is famous for it's mountains and fells including Scafell Pike , the highest peak in England 3210ft, Helvellyyn, Old Man of Coniston and the Langdale Pikes. So the mountains combined with the lakes, tarns, rivers streams and waterfalls makes for undoubtedly some of the most stunning cuntryside in England with great scenery and many breathtaking views.
The Lake District is a paradise for those who like the outdoor life including walking,cyclying, fishing,sailing and fell running. There also is a wealth of places to visit and things to do including Hill Top the home of Beatrix Potter, Dove Cottage and Grasmere the home of William Wordsworth, Levens Hall, a trip on the Eskdale Railway or a cruise on Windermere and much more besides.
Ambleside / Near Sawrey area
Near Sawrey is on the western side of Lake Windermere, a couple of miles from Hawkshead. Windermere can be accessed via the frequent car and passenger ferry approximately 3 miles from the property. So whilst the property is well located for access to the southern lakes, it also offers a quiet and tranquil location.
