“Magical and unforgettable family vacation...breathtaking!” Our family vacation at the Dimora di mare villa was an unforgettable experience thanks to the enchanting surroundings and the warmth and graciousness of our hosts..Renato and annalisa. The villa is absolutely breathtaking with endless views of the Mediterranean. The rooms are furnished exquisitely and the bathrooms are beautiful. Every detail of this villa reflects the passion for it by its owners. We were greeted by Renato with open arms and immediately were made to feel welcome in his home. He took us on a tour of the villa from the sea access area up to the fantastic roof at which the views were amazing! Housekeeping services are provided daily and if one wishes meals can be scheduled. We had a delicious buffet breakfast prepared for us each morning by beautiful and delightful Marguerita. She was kind enough to allow me to speak my version of Italian with her and we seemed to understand each other enough to laugh and smile! She was ever so kind to my family(speaking Italian with our family translator Gina) and I will always remember her with affection. Renato and annalisa are the perfect hosts and their home is located in a perfect location for a memorable and dreamlike vacation of a lifetime. “A great relaxing week in a beautiful villa” We had a fantastic week on the amalfi coast. Il Monaco is a perfect base. Everything about it was lovely from the cool fresh bedrooms to the stunning views! Having the swimming platform was also great. We would like to say a big thank you to Franco who looks after the property for anna for all his help as it took away any stress for us. Franco picked us up from the airport and drove us to Minori via the beautiful scenic coast road. We had 2 wonderful trips to Capri by speed boat and Pompeii by air conditioned bus. He also helped us organise these trips with his local knowledge.The boat even picked us up from the swimming platform. The town of Minori was lovely with fantastic restaurants and cafes. It has a very friendly,relaxed atmosphere. We walked to Ravello via the steps along a bit from the villa which was amazing and took about 1 hour. The views from there are stunning. We would love to come back maybe at cooler time to do some more exploring. On the return journey to the airport Franco took us a different which takes a little longer via the mountains which open up to reveal the Bay of Naples which was breathtaking.

“Absolute Perfection!” I'm not even sure where to begin ... our recent stay at La Clarissa was, by far, the best vacation ever! The villa itself is very European; charming, quaint and romantic ... the perfect size for two people, with all the amenities you'd need. But the terrace is what will knock your socks off ... it's huge and the views are literally breathtaking; simply gorgeous. We loved spending time basking in the sun, reading books, eating breakfast, just taking it all in. Although you will not want to leave, the quick walk into Minori was an adventure - and the town is adorable. People were so friendly, great restaurants (our favorite was Il Pontile - recommended by anna and Oscar!), and we loved that it was not overrun with american tourists (we are americans, so nothing against american tourists, but we really got a flavor for Italian coastal living, and by the end of our week stay we were in love with Minori). And anna and Oscar (and their adorable daughter) could not have been nicer - from the moment they picked us up from the bus, we felt welcomed and like old friends. We're already talking about when we can come back and who we can convince to go! Trust the reviews on here, you will love this place!

“Albicocca perfect location” Our stay in july 2011 at the albicocca in amalfivacation was a wonderful experience. Plenty of room in our 2 bedroom + fam/rm villa with a gorgeous outdoor bbq area shaded by lemon trees and bougainvillea plants. A little walk into the town of Minori provided us with fresh fruit and vegies as well as all the other delights such as beautiful pastries from the " pasticceria". The local people were very friendly and very helpful . The few steps to the " infinity" pool were well worth the climb as the view was amazing and my daughters and I spent many hours just admiring the amalfi view from that pool! Franco and staff extremely helpful, we cant wait to revisit in a few years time for my husband's 50th!! ( without children this time )Cheers
