For your next stay in Bali, why pay for a hotel when you can have an entire house with a gorgeous private garden and rice field views for cheaper?!
Our cozy wooden house in the rice fields has views on both sides, with an uninterrupted view to Mount Agung. You can get up early and watch the sunrise over the volcano and the mists in the rice fields from the balcony - magical!
There are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and mosquito nets, and 2 living areas, over 2 floors- ideal for up to 4 people with an additional travel cot for a child if required. There is an open-air (covered) kitchen, which is lovely for sitting in and enjoying your breakfast in the rice field breezes. The bathroom is located to the side of the main house across a covered corridor and has hot water and includes a bathtub and separate shower. The toilet is separate from the main bathroom.
We built this home for our own family and we want you to enjoy staying there as if it was your own home. We've included everything you may need during your stay in Ubud. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, fridge, toaster oven, rice cooker, blender, plates, cutlery and cooking equipment. In the living room is a TV, dvd player and a selection of books and DVDs. We even have a washing machine so you don't need to worry about taking trips to the laundry.
The gazebo in our walled garden is perfect for relaxing in and there is ample parking space behind a lockable gate (we are located on a road with full car access, unlike many Ubud villas which can only be accessed by motorbike).
There is a lovely walk through the rice fields into Ubud which takes about half an hour. We're located about 1.5km away from the Yoga Barn so this is ideal if you're planning on taking some yoga classes while in Ubud. I also supply a yoga mat and the upstairs living area is ideal for practicing at the house.
Just down the road is a lovely Indonesian restaurant (Sawah Indah) which is perfect for dinner if you don't feel like going into Ubud. We're also within a few minutes walk of Bale Udang and Janggar Ulam restaurants - search for them online to see how gorgeous they are and how yummy the food looks! If you just feel like a night in, many restaurants in Ubud deliver free of charge and we keep takeaway menus and a local mobile phone in the house for your use.
We provide bed linens and towels and the house will be stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, soap and bottled water before your arrival.
If you have young children, feel free to make use of the travel cot and mattress in the house. We can also supply toys and books on request.
Breakfast can be arranged for an additional cost and we can also organise cooking classes, airport pickup, day trips, motorbike hire and other transport. My husband Made is Balinese and grew up in Ubud and will be happy to show you around some amazing sights off the beaten tourist trail!
Fast wi-fi internet is included in the rental price.
We live just down the road so we're easy to get hold of if you have any problems. We also provide a mobile phone with local sim card so you can call us if you need anything.
We look forward to welcoming you into our home!
