“Exotic heaven of tranquility” We rented villa Betèn Bukit for 2 weeks with 3 adults. The beautiful villa has spacious bedrooms with high quality beds and en-suite bathrooms. The balcony around the house was our favorite place to eat and read a book in the evening, but the lounge area on the upper floor is also a very pleasant place to spend time. The wonderful garden with a large swimming pool has plenty of cosy spots in the shade - the ideal setting to relax and enjoy the surrounding mountain views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast with delicious exotic fruits and all other meals we ordered were always very tasty as well. It was no problem to ask for special drinks or snacks, and every request was carried out with a warm smile. The house is not located right by the sea, but thanks to the bicycles provided by the owner it took us less than 10 minutes to get to the beach. Permuteran is a great place if you want to lie on the beach, swim, snorkel and dive. Don't expect a lot of shopping possibilities, night clubs, etc. The trip from and to the airport takes at least 3 hours, but the advantage is that Permuteran is a relatively quiet village which is ideal to relax, recharge your batteries and discover the unique underwater world filled with the most amazing coral and fishes.

“A calm and elegant oasis” Our week long stay at Villa aparna was perfect. We were met at the airport and driven across the island to the villa. The staff were warm and engaging and eager to please. We ate in most evenings and Sudapta the chef did a fine job of catering to the differing dietary preferences of our family of five. Desi the housekeeper is a gem and she spoiled us. We used in-house spa services, went snorkeling, explored waterfalls and temples. North Bali is a paradise - quiet by comparison to the southern beaches. Highly recommended by all in our party.
