“the villa exceeded expectations” the location was great. We could walk down to the resturants and markets within a few minutes. The villa itself exceeded all our expectations it was absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail gorgeous. The staff were so helpful but discreet and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a real treat. My sisters and I all rate this villa 10/10 and will definately return . .

“Paradise in Bali!” What an incredible house! Pictures did it no justice, it was like out of a fairy tale! The pool was a welcome relief from the heat every morning and afternoon. Made made us fantastic breakfasts every morning and smoothies and treats halfway through the day. The house felt very private and had incredible views from all sides of the house. The supermarket is a short 5 minute walk from the house and there are some great spas just 5-10 minutes away as well. We got massages every day for less than $10 each time. I've never had such a relaxing vacation! There is some fabulous beaches on the coast (about 30-45 min drive), but we really loved Blue Lagoon which was about a 40 min drive north. You can rent bikes or motorbikes just up the street, and the house recommended a driver named Blue that was able to plan lots of excursions for us at a great price! We went rafting, rode bikes through rice fields, went to the Luwak coffee plantation, snorkeled, and more. I have already recommended this house to friends and family alike.

“Simply wonderful stay at Majestic Villa!!” Majestic Villa was a pure delight. The home is beautiful with an authentic Bali feel. Sipping drinks at sunset on the top level overlooking the rice paddies and mountain views was breathtaking. The pool is stunning and in the warm, humid climate is a welcome distraction from shopping in Ubud. Wayan and his team who take care of you are simply wonderful and made us feel so welcome. Made offered to drive us around in our rental car and play local tour guide, which he did with charm. The villa is situated a short drive away from central Ubud and you do need transport to get around but we found the escape from the busy tourist areas a joy. We will happily stay at Majestic Villa on our next visit to Bali.

“Nice gem in Ubud” We are 6 friends who stayed at Villa Jumah for 2 nights in August. There are many good points to Villa Jumah that covers some of it's inadequacies quite nicely. The villa is huge and extremely spacious for 6 people, big enough to hold a house party for up to 30 people. Clean, neat and tidy with good furniture and appliances such as the iPod dock in the living area and the pool table between the 2 rooms on the 2nd floor. The swimming pool is huge and we were able to swim proper laps in it, the smaller sized dip pool was a great place to chill in the afternoons with a couple of drinks, enjoying the light foliage surrounding the villa grounds. Villa Jumah is located slightly off the beaten track, about 15-20mins walk into Jalan Bisma, from Jalan Raya Ubud the main street of Ubud town. There are some restaurants and shops on Jalan Bisma, one of them is Umah Pizza which you should definitely try, their Mie Goreng or Balinese fried noodles topped with a fried egg is awesome, we ate there almost every meal. The breakfast offered was adequate and Willy the groundskeeper is sincere and diligent, always going out of his way to make our stay as fuss-free as possible. Overall Villa Jumah far exceeded our expectations and for the price, it was definitely value for money. Great location though it requires a bit of a walk, the path is bordered with small patches of rice paddy fields, we enjoyed many nice relaxing walks on Jalan Bisma. If the walking bothers you, Willy will be glad to arrange for scooters or alternative transportation for you. We loved our stay however 2 nights was too short, we will definitely be back to Ubud and when we do, Villa Jumah will be our choice accommodation.
