A warm, spacious, clean and beautifully presented 3 bedroom self catering coastal house in a fabulous location near to the main beach in Trearddur Bay, The Lookout provides a great base from which to explore this popular year round destination. Within easy walking distance of shops, pubs, restaurants and the seafront with a beautiful, blue flag sandy beach (approx. 5 minutes) aswell as easily accessible fantastic coastal walks, this is the perfect location for families, groups and couples.

The house itself has balconies both front and rear to enjoy the surrounding sea and countryside views and a large grassed area at the front and side of the property. A lovely enclosed south-facing lawned garden with large decking area and summerhouse at the rear boasts fantastic views of Trearddur Bay and beyond and provides a great place to relax and a safe and secure environment for children to play. A Grade II listed fortified construction in the garden also provides a unique feature and gives the house its name of The Lookout.

This fabulous coastal property benefits from triple glazing and an advanced design eco-friendly heat exchange system and radiators throughout, resulting in a warm, cosy and quiet retreat whatever the time of year.

The interior is tastefully designed, with super-fast fibre-optic WiFi, flat-screen HD TV with Sky Q satellite system, Blu-Ray/DVD player and CD player providing a delightful and safe environment for the discerning holidaymaker.

Our objective is for our guests to relax and unwind in a tranquil environment in this breathtakingly beautiful coastal location. To this end, the property is equipped with all the essentials and much more to ensure your holiday is stress free and restful from the moment it begins.

Babies and children are very welcome. A travel cot and high chair are available on request.

GROUND FLOOR - Lounge/Dining Room ; An entrance way (with coatroom/storage room containing a large upright overflow fridge-freezer) leads to a large open plan, newly refurbished and tastefully decorated lounge and dining area just off the kitchen ; 2 new leather sofas and a leather tub chair provide plenty of comfortable seating in the spacious yet cosy lounge - lots of space for adults to relax in and children to play. The dining table comfortably seats six. Free super-fast WiFi, a flat-screen HD TV with Sky Q satellite system, a Blu-Ray/DVD player and a CD player are provided. A selection of both indoor and outdoor games, books, and DVDs have also been provided for your enjoyment. The spacious kitchen is well equipped to the highest standard with an exceptionally large electric oven with gas hob, Belfast sink, microwave, toaster, second fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. All crockery and utensils are provided. A newly installed downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash basin leads off the kitchen.

FIRST FLOOR - Master Bedroom ; Light and fresh double bedroom decorated to provide a relaxing atmosphere at the end of the day. The room has plenty of storage space with a built-in double wardrobe (containing an iron and ironing board) and a dressing table. Most importantly, the room benefits from a good-sized balcony which boasts fantastic views of the sea and surrounding farmland. A hairdryer is also provided. Second Bedroom ; Spacious double bedroom again with plenty of storage with a wardrobe and dressing table and another good-sized balcony which is a real sun-trap in the mornings. Third Bedroom ; Small bedroom with bunk bed (double bed below, single above). Family Bathroom with modern white suite, decorated to a high standard. There is an electric shower, separate corner bath with hand-held shower attachment, WC and sink with ample storage space for toiletries.

OUTDOORS - Large garden and outside space to the front and rear of the house. To the rear is a lovely lawned south-facing garden with a large decking area and summerhouse (containing deck-chairs and a selection of beach and outdoor games), all providing fantastic sea and countryside views and a place to relax on sunny days and long summer evenings. The rear garden is enclosed and contains a Grade II listed fortified construction with a roof planted with sedum and scented alpines! The rear garden also contains a raised rockery planted with grasses, herbs and flowering alpines. A gate at the bottom of the garden provides private access to a path leading down to the beach and nearby shops, pubs and restaurants. Plenty of garden furniture and a BBQ have been provided for al fresco dining, together with deck chairs to make the most of the seaward facing decking area, which acts as a real sun-trap on sunny days. The front garden consists of a large grassed area, covered by wildflowers at certain times of year, adjoined by a scenic rock-face on one side and private parking for two cars on the hard driveway, plus a double garage with games room.

We were particularly pleased with the message you sent us describing our property as “Fabulous” - thank you. We will attempt to address your other comments below. Firstly, with regard to the numbers of bathrooms advertised - unfortunately this is a quirk of the TripAdvisor website - we have tried to remedy this in the property description by clarifying the amenities available at the property in great detail. Secondly, the property has a maximum occupancy of 7 people. Unfortunately, we were made aware that you had far more people visiting and staying at our property during the week you were there, than the 6 people you said you were booking for. Had you mentioned at the time of booking that you were planning on inviting other friends and family to stay with you, we would have advised that our property was not suitable for your requirements. Having roughly double the quantity of people at the property than its maximum occupancy allows, obviously then increases the amount of wear and tear on the amenities and perhaps then explains why you thought that the facilities were insufficient for your needs. Inviting extra guests also then meant that there were 4 or 5 cars at the property, rather than the more regular 1 or 2, which might explain why you felt the need to access our garage and games room via our neighbours property, although there is plenty of room to access it via our own driveway and garden. By inviting extra guests to our property, you were actually in breach of the terms of our agreement. We hope that any potential future guests of The Lookout, have a clearer understanding of the conditions which lead to this review of our property.

Why can't I call Rupert and Adiba (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Rupert and Adiba (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
