Enter the apartment through the modern, off-creme kitchen with steel and black detailing. Its ample, well-lit workspaces and the sleek cabinets, under-mount recessed lighting and glass backsplash give a spacious feel to the room. Its high-end appliances include double oven, five-plaque range with hood, dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, blender and other essentials which will make any seasoned cook feel at home. A combination washer and dryer are located here as well. The window which provides natural light looks over the buildings cobblestoned courtyard lined with topiaries. The glass dining table which can seat up to six may be moved to the study on the right for a more formal dining experience if so desired.
The simple but stately study leads into the living room through an archway. Rich reds complement antiques pieces including wooden marble-top consoles with gilded detailing. Persian rugs, gilded mirrors and sconces, and original paintings and prints complement the period feel. The windows which look down onto the street below are framed by floor-length drapes. Classic architectural features include parquet floors and high ceilings decorated with patisserie molding. The full-size sofa bed can accommodate an additional 1-2 guests.

The master bedroom is located on the other side of the apartment for maximum privacy. The comfortable bed (63 x 75 inches; larger than a queen) and luxurious linens ensure a good night rest. The calming blue room is decorated with 18th century period artwork in gilded frames, some antique as well as more contemporary wood furniture, and two tufted, armless green chairs. Like the kitchen, the double windows look over the charming courtyard. The bedroom has a cleverly conceived en-suite bath: The well-lit and mirrored marble-topped vanity is open to the bedroom. To the left of the vanity is a frosted glass door which opens into the tiled shower with overhead showerhead, hand-held showerhead and body jets which can be operated independently or together. To the right of the vanity is the door of the WC. A hair dryer and iron are available.
Small dogs may be considered at the apartment. Daily maid service and babysitting may be arranged on request.
