“Great base to explore Anglesey or for a restful break”

Reviewed 3 Jan 2017

Tawelfa has a well appointed kitchen and comfortable lounge and bedrooms. The communications pre and post stay were excellent. Everything was easily found. Tawelfa is also in a good location for Moelfre; a short walk down hill to the coastal path and round to the Lifeboat House/Museum. Also a short walk away is the Kinmell Arms; which has a reasonably priced menu, real Ales, Proseco by the glass & a reasonable choice of blended and malt wiskeys. We had a great stay and would recommend Tawelfa.

Owner's reply: Thank you for the great review, I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay at Tawelfa. Moelfre is a lovely little village with everything you need on the doorstep. Best wishes Lesley

“Amazing”

Reviewed 30 Dec 2016

What a lovey cottage, it is in a perfect little village, lovely beach great local pub with amazing food, everything you need is nearby but the cottage had everything you wil need, the beds were so comfortable and there was a Christmas tree up as we were there for xmas, the owners have thought of every little thing there isn't a bad word you can say, it's just so perfect wil come back for sure again and again. Thank you for a great Christmas

Owner's reply: Hi Sam, thanks for your kind comments, I'm so glad you had a lovely Christmas there. Hope you will be able to visit Tawelfa again. Best wishes for 2017, Lesley

“Fantastic pet friendly cottage”

Reviewed 19 Oct 2016

Have just returned from our holiday along with our dogs. I can't rate this experience highly enough. Communication with Lesley was excellent from initial enquiry through to the holiday itself. The cottage was spotlessly clean on arrival and equipped with far more than you are likely to need. Very dog friendly with safe and secure garden for them to explore. Plenty of dog friendly beaches particularly at this time of year and we were lucky with the weather too. All round a lovely holiday. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a home from home, thank you Lesley.

Owner's reply: Thank you for such lovely comments! I'm really pleased you felt at home, we do try to make the cottage comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. I think Anglesey is our dog Milly's favourite place, she never tires of the coastal path or beaches - and the weather is definitely better than the mainland! Best wishes Lesley

“Cosy home away from home”

Reviewed 7 Feb 2014

We've stayed with Lesley twice now and both times have been extremely pleased with Tawelfa. Moelfre is a great location for those wanting to get away from the stresses of life. The property is fully equipped, decorated to a high standard, definitly a comfortable place to stay. Would highly recommend.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your kind comments, I'm so glad you had a relaxing break. It's lovely to have so many guests coming back again, best wishes Lesley

“Really Lovely Cottage and Village.”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2013

What a lovely cottage equipped with so many extras, even down to dog bowels and dog treats, it really is home from home and sooo cosy. Moelfre is a lovely village, with shop, pub, chip shop, lovely cafe, seaviews and friendly locals, what more do you need, happy days. Surrounding area is really beautiful with great sandy beaches. Cottage and village well worth a stay, you won't be disappointed. My lad was so so sad to leave.

Owner's reply: Thanks for your lovely comments, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. We do try to make everyone feel that Tawelfa is a "home from home" - and that includes our four legged friends! Best wishes Lesley and Paul

“The complete package, one not to be missed!”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2012

Tawelfa is a very welcoming cottage that immediately feels homely and very comfortable. My husband and I had a wonderful stay along with our daughters age 8 and 10. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Nice quiet location, short walking distance to the village and ideal for exploring the beautiful coastline either by foot or car. No shortage of things to do or places to visit. We will definately be returning if only for the crabbing which our girls loved and would do everyday if they could!

“A perfect holiday cottage”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2012

We spent a lovely weekend in the September sunshine at this fab property which has everything u could ever need and more. Although its a new build it's very cosy and homely and the home made cakes awaiting our arrival was a lovely touch. The furnishings are lovely 2 particularly the bedrooms. Can't wait 2 stay again for longer in the summer.

“Well worth a visit!”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2012

The property was a new build and everything within was well presented. It was quite perfect actually. everything had been well thought of. It was well equipped and we wanted for nothing. My husband and I have very high expectations and this property lived up to them. We had a thoroughly lovely holiday with our two year old baby and our dog.

“Great place, great location”

Reviewed 26 Jul 2012

We all had a wonderful stay at Tawelfa, the cottage has everything you need from home and is in a beautiful location only 3 minutes walk from the sea. The cottage was as described (and more!) and the owner Lesley was very kind and helpful. Already been telling all our friends about this great find!
