This charming (4 star rated) Victorian property has retained many original features, and all rooms have individually designed interiors. Two of the four bedrooms have four-poster beds and the front bedrooms have long distance views across Wensleydale.

Wensleydale House is well-equipped to cater for visitors of all ages throughout the year. It boasts three bathrooms (2 ensuite and 1 family) and a cloakroom/WC, a modern kitchen with range cooker, Lounge with dining area (well stocked with CDs, DVDs, toys and books), as well as having a free Wi-fi. Most of the bedrooms also have a TV and DVD. A welcome tray with a cake is also provided on arrival.

Charming original features retained include beautiful large south facing bay windows with views towards the Wensleydale countryside from the upper floors. A pretty ornamental garden is to the front and to the rear there is ample off road car parking for four cars. Sorry no pets.

Our family got together in Leyburn for a belated combined Christmas. The rental was a good choice. There is parking for two cars. The children loved their bedroom.

Came in January with friends (7 adults, 3 children) for a wedding at Castle Bolton. House in perfect location to explore the Dales. House well equipped with everything you need - like home from home. Very good child safety with stairgates around the upper floors. Clean and tidy on arrival. Owners correspondence via email quick and in detail. Good off-road car parking for 4 cars. Free Wifi always a good thing. Freeview TV. Array of games toys and DVDs available in the house. Would defo recommend to others and would return to the house myself.
