The cottage is deep cleaned between guests and a fogging machine is also used in sanitizing and disinfecting the rooms. Items such as books, leaflets, jigsaws and games have been removed until it is safe to return these.
Free Wi fi Wharfedene is a warm comfortable cottage in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The modernised cottage has 4 bedrooms, a double, a twin and two singles - one en suite (shower) on the second floor. Linen, towels and electricity are included in the rates. Storage heaters are in the lounge and dining room as well as electric fires with panel or fan heaters in the bedrooms. The lounge has Freestat TV, DVD player and a pay phone for in or out calls. The dining room has a Blu tooth radio. The well equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and electric cooker with a tumble drier in the small conservatory. The bathroom has a shower over the bath with a walk in shower in the top bedroom ensuite. Shaver points in both bathrooms. Parking immediately outside the cottage with a parking pass for across the road.

“Clean, warm and comfortable.”
We were there for the Grassington Dickensian festival so was very convenient. Although the weather was awful we enjoyed it. Lovely food at the Fountaines Inn at Linton a short walk away.

The cottage has the advantage of being cool on a very hot day and equally warm on cold days. The Fountaine Inn and the Old School Tea Room in Hebden are indeed great places to eat.
“The perfect holiday cottage”
This is a beautiful and fascinating little hamlet developed sympathetically from an original woollen Mill site. The falls themselves are truly impressive especially after rains and there are lovely walks up and down the river and to Grassington itself. Facilities for dogs are excellent with a doggie bin beside the car parking area opposite the house and the whole area is clean and litter free despite being on The Dales Way.The Cottage is very spacious and has a modern bathroom with an on suite upstairs in a beautiful attic bedroom. There is continual hot water and the storage heaters and other electric fires kept us warm even in the coldest days. The whole place was spotlessly clean with practical help at the end of the phone if we needed it. Despite being a mid terrace there was no noise and it has been just what we wanted- a quiet peaceful week in beautiful surroundings. We would love to come back again.
