FOR YOUR SAFETY: In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are implementing a number of measures to ensure your safety. The property is now fully sanitised and all surfaces and regular touchpoints will be disinfected after each guest departure. We have also removed certain items, such as board games, that cannot be sanitised to our satisfaction therefore you are welcome to bring your own to enjoy. Should you wish for more information, please ask for our new cleaning policy and product safety data sheets.

This large, luxurious 4 bedroom house easily sleeps 8 guests with options for more. Located on “The Bay” holiday village, you get a full panoramic view of beautiful Filey Bay and have direct access to the award-winning beach. There is fast, free WiFi and each bedroom has a Samsung smart TV with free Disney+ - the Lounge TV also has Blu-ray DVD with a soundbar that will connect to your Bluetooth devices.

The ground floor is a large open plan living area with a modern fully equipped kitchen, which has dining capacity for 12. Our large bi-fold doors lead out onto a beautiful patio and BBQ area which is the perfect spot for eating and drinking with family and friends. With state of the art kitchen facilities - including a bottle cooler, plate warmer and all the cooking equipment you could need - it will be easy to create unforgettable meals for your loved ones (plus, you don’t need to worry about the washing up afterwards as the dishwasher has it covered!). The kitchen also has a breakfast bar which is perfect for mornings where people want to help themselves to fruit and cereals. The ground floor bedroom and ensuite is suitable for anyone who has difficulty with stairs or any mobility issues.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super-king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a heated tiled floor. The bi-fold doors lead out onto the balcony which offers panoramic views of Filey Bay and is the perfect place to watch spectacular sunrises with your morning coffee. There is also a family bathroom beside the 2 other bedrooms - one of which has a king-size bed. All bedrooms have ample cupboard and drawer space to organise your belongings and hide the suitcases away to make it feel like you are right at home.

All bed linen and towels are provided - there are also plenty of pillows as well as a washing machine and dryer which you are free to use throughout your stay. If you are in need of a holiday read, we have plenty of books that you can borrow as well as a variety of DVDs that cover a whole range of film tastes.

Features of the village include a communal heated swimming pool with a toddlers pool, sauna and steam room. For our more sporty guests, there is a tennis court, table tennis table and a gym. There are always plenty of different activities happening for the youngsters (as part of the ‘Go Active’ program for an additional cost) as well as a beauty room offering spa-style treatments for those of you in need of some pampering. For further information, please check the pool reception.

The onsite pub offers delicious meals and fun entertainment. There is also a coffee shop selling locally roasted coffee and fresh pastries, a mini arcade for the youngsters as well as an adventure playground to occupy them in the daytime. With a wildflower meadow and plenty of walking trails - not forgetting our incredible beach - there is no shortage of things to keep all ages occupied during your time at Fileybayview.

As a heads up, Morrisons and Tesco both deliver to “The Bay”, saving you the hassle of bringing any supplies with you. The local takeaways deliver too and the best fish and chips are in Hunmanby which is just a 5 minute car ride away.

There will be a welcome pack with the basic essentials for you upon your arrival - should you require the sofa-bed in the living room, please let us know in advance so we can provide bed linen. We do provide a travel cot and high chair for your little ones.

Due to the additional cleaning requirements, check-in is now at 3:00 and we ask you to vacate by 10:00. Unfortunately, there are no pets allowed, but well-behaved children are encouraged.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Victor (the owner) a message.

If Victor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
