Lovely apartment and very helpful owner. Well equipped and nice touch of a welcome pack. Great location with plenty to see and do nearby but a nicely away from it all. Main road a little noisy from the bedroom which is the only downside to an otherwise perfect place.

From the friendly emails during the booking process right through to a follow up after we'd left, we couldn't have wished for anything more from our stay at Little Saxbys. The apartment was clean. modern and very well appointed. Warm and cosy, even bottles of milk, wine and OJ left in the fridge. Although I was there for work, would be an excellent base for exploring the wider area. Highly recommended.

Little Saxbys is a newly modelled barn. It has an attic type roof, so beware if you're tall, you'll need to do a bit of bending. Only a double bed, no room for anything wider, but good storage. Very good shower over the bath, but poor bathroom lightening. The kitchen is well equiped except there is no oven, but then you are on holiday. Comfortable couches, clean and tidy, light and airy. Could be a bit hot in the height of summer, but windows on all sides, so good air flow. Stairs up to the apartment with a small outdoor area for enjoying a cool ale or wine. Off street parking and free good WiFi. Close to Haver Castle. Very good Gastro Pub nearby and a number of other eateries in Edinbridge, or a bit further afield in Tunbridge Wells. It is on a busy 'B'' road, so can be a bit noisy. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Very much enjoyed our (too short) stay.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is modern and stylish with excellent facilities and plenty of space. There is a main road beside which generates some noise but it didn't bother our sleep (very comfy bed too). It was overall a great base from which we could spend a couple of days on that leg of our holiday.

My partner and I stayed here from 25th-28th May for a nice, relaxing break and we certainly got it here at Little Saxbys Apartment! We loved the apartment, its décor and found it incredibly cosy and quickly felt at home. Louise was very helpful and informed us of some lovely places where we could have a drink or a bite to eat. We spent one of our days at Hever Castle, which was only a short drive from the apartment and was a lovely day out with lots to do. We also went to Tunbridge Wells for the day and were blessed with beautiful weather, it was a lovely town to walk around and do some shopping too! We were quite sad to leave Little Saxbys Apartment after 3 nights, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend for others to stay here.

My wife and I stayed at Little Saxbys over the New Year period to visit family. The location is ideal and beautiful, set amongst some the prettiest Kent and Sussex countryside. The nearest village (Cowden) is a gorgeous, quaint little place with a very good pub (the Fountain Inn). Nearby are several other towns and villages worth visiting (East Grinstead, Edenbridge, Hartfield (home of Pooh Bridge), Tundridge Wells, Hever (Hever Castle) and Penshurst (Penshurst Place)). Ashdown forest is also very close. The apartment itself is a modern, light, clean, stylish and secure place to stay. There are some lovely views out of the various windows onto the local hills (some great walking to he had). Louise and her husband are very welcoming and helpful hosts but will also respect your own privacy during your stay. We would certainly consider staying at Little Saxbys again.

Our second time staying at little saxby's and it didn't disappoint. Very comfortable apartment with a homely feel. For us it was conveniently placed to visit Brighton and surrounding areas. There is also a very good pub resturant in the village that Louise recommended.

The flat is so nicely decorated, clean and full of anything you might need. The landlady is kind and always smiling. We have enjoyed her discreet presence. There's a big Waitrose nearby and lots of restaurants. Ideal location for excursions and for just peace and relax in a marvellous countryside. Edenbridge is near and other villages. A place we'll come back again.

Set in a pretty part of south east England,this apartment is beautifully decorated and appointed. The hosts are very nice, friendly, and helpful but in a way that never intrudes on privacy. There are towns close by with good links to London, meaning you can enjoy the local countryside one day, and pop into London the next. You're strongly advised to bring a car as the apartment is quite isolated and nothing is reachable on foot, but do this and you'll be in for a very pleasant stay in a really lovely place.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
