Location description from owner

The North Wales region

The Isle of Anglesey is an island and county off the northwest coast of Wales, with a predominantly Welsh-speaking population. It is connected to the mainland by two bridges spanning the Menai Strait: the original Menai Suspension Bridge, designed by Thomas Telford in 1826; and the more recently constructed Britannia Bridge.

Separated from the mainland by the Menai Strait, the Island of Anglesey is a very beautiful and historic part of Wales, renowned for its lovely countryside, castles, sandy coves and, of course, the most famous village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, which has the longest name in Britain!

If you came across the Menai or old bridge onto the island you will have passed a sign welcoming you to Mon Mam Cymru literally to Anglesey- Mother of Wales. A generation ago Anglesey was that - as a rich farming community her produce could feed the population of Wales as a mother feeds her children. Our farmers are still here but Angleseys evolution means it is now an expanding and popular holiday destination with a huge

A fantastic cottage - very modern and stylish but also very cosy. Everything you could need with a very luxurious feel. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it. Looking forward to staying there again in the future. Great value for money.
