Description from owner

Description

Located in Barmouth, this stylish and contemporary ground floor apartment with three bedrooms is situated within easy reach of all Barmouth’s amenities. A wide selection of restaurants, pubs, shops, an enormous beach and pretty harbour are all within easy walking distance and a host of outdoor activities and family attractions are available in the surrounding Snowdonia National Park.

The location is really very good with essential shopping using the Co-op or Iceland being 5 minutes walk away, the centre of town being at most ten minutes and the harbour is the other side of town and is about 15 minutes away. And most important of all, the beach is just 10 minutes walk if that. Of course it depends how fast you walk but I'm taking a typical rate.

The keys for the flat are in a key safe by the front door. We will provide the code about 7 days before you arrive as we regularly change the code.

We will also send details of the flat and area using PDF files about 10 days before the start or earlier by request. And of course we will answer any specific questions you might have.

It will help us both if you outline any mobility problems or any other specific health issues. For example access to the flat is up some steps which may be challenging for some but my wife managed it without difficulty on crutches. It has also been mentioned that the shower is over the bath which may be a challenge for some.

Just ask and we'll advise honestly - we want you to enjoy your stay not be frustrated!

Getting around

From the flat you can use the local bus, trains from the station just 5 minutes away or walk which is the best way to see the area. Bicycles can be hired locally and there are some lovely rides in the area without needing to use a car at all. So a car is not really an essential in Barmouth.

“Fantastic!”

The flat was amazing. Was enjoyed by all. Mike was so helpful beforehand, and his paperwork for how everything worked and where everything in the flat could be found was funny. Would definitely stay again

“Perfect place to stay”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2020

The flat was immaculate, with all the equipment you could need. The kitchen and bathroom are of a.high standard too. The thoughtful owners provided the basic condiments and toiletries to get you settled in; some beach chairs and games for the kids. The beds are so comfy and there's parking right outside. The town and the beach areboth a 5 minute walk. Just perfect!

Lovely clean, well presented ground floor flat. It had everything we needed already there. Close to the beach yet just out the way of all the hustle and bustle. Owner was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Me and my family had a great time. Definitely recommend and will be returning again. Thank you

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review - especially the comment about shower over bath, I will change the listing to ensure that anyone with mobility issues realises that's the case. It's often hard for us with limited experience to appreciate the things that represent challenges to those with reduced mobility.
