This Grade II listed property is located among the streets of old Barmouth in North Wales and can sleep nine people in five bedrooms.Goronwy Cottage is a beautifully presented, Grade II listed property with views over the sea and Mawddach Estuary in Barmouth. It boasts 5 bedrooms to sleep 9 in total; a king-size, a double, and second floor double, all with en-suite shower rooms, as well as a single and children's bunk room. There is also a bathroom, a second floor TV room, a boot room and cloakroom, a kitchen/diner, a utility in an external building, and a sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is nearby permit parking and a west-facing veranda with table, chairs, large sun decked terrace, and picnic table. Goronwy Cottage offers a wonderful base in North Wales.

Note: This property is over three floors in an elevated position in old Barmouth, with 45 steps up to the property and some low doorways. Due to its age and nature, stairs are a little steeper and narrower than normal.

Note: There is no vehicle access to the property, so it is not suitable for those with mobility issues.

One well-behaved dog welcome, downstairs only and not in bedrooms (one more will be considered upon request). Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk, beach 10 mins walk. Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: Barmouth is surrounded by the the Snowdonia National Park, a traditional seaside town with a large, sandy Blue Flag beach, perfect for families. A variety of shops, pubs and restaurants combined with the mild climate, make this an ideal destination for a holiday, even out of season. There is plenty for walkers, climbers and cyclists, with Mount Cader Idris nearby. An abundance of wildlife along the Mawddach Estuary, trout fishing in mountain lakes, Harlech Castle, St David’s golf course and Portmeirion Italianate village are among some of the best attractions in the area.

Wonderful place to stay!

Lovely cottage, all the amenities you could ask for! Close to the beach, shops and pub's. Has three floors and two separate staircases! Has a real wow factor when you walk in :- D
