Description

Our ABI Ashcroft new 2015 is located at Aviemore Holiday Park, a 10 min walk from the train station and the centre of Aviemore which is a busy thriving community, there is an onsite cafe/bar and the site is only a 5 min walk to the nearest Italian restaurant ,Indian restaurants and chip shop.

Accomodation

The accommodation comprises a comfortable open plan kitchen/dining /lounge with French doors out to the decking area, lounge area has large L shaped sofa ample seating for 6 also with a 32" flat screen TV, freesat box and a DVD player, the lounge also incorporates a wall mounted electric heater with living flame option for that cozy glow even when fire not required to be on. Dining area has table and seats for 4. The well appointed kitchen has a gas cooker with hob, oven and separate grill, integrated microwave and integrated fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery and pots, pans, glasses and utensils, everything that you will need to make meals for all your family needs.

Sleeps 6, There are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, has large wardrobe and shelf space, ample drawer space, above headboard storage, dressing table with stool mirror and an en-suite. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, under bed storage and above headboard storage. There is also a double lift out sofa bed in the lounge.

Location

Aviemore Holiday Park is based closed to the city centre and offers access to all local services and amenities including restaurants, hotel, post office, bus transport, train station, fishing, bike hire, golf, tennis and bowls. There is also a great convenience store not too far from the site. The famous river Spey runs through the site and reasonably priced fishing permits are available from reception.

There is a coin operated washing machine and drier on site also a beauty and therapy salon beside the reception.

The area is great for lovers of the great outdoors. Walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and fishermen will be impressed by the spectacular scenery. Golfers are spoilt for choice here. Aviemore hosted a very highly rated golf course, and there are several others in the vicinity.

“Excellent chalet in a super location.”

The chalet suited our needs very well. It was spotlessly clean and we'll presented. Everything worked just as it should and email contact with the owner was quick and helpful. Just one minor observation was that space was very limited in the second bedroom.

“Fantastic Stay”

Recently stayed at this holiday chalet for two nights. From the booking process through to the end of our stay ran smoothly. The chalet is in excellent condition and is well equipped. The owners have thought of everything. Situated in Aviemore Holiday Park, it is in an ideal location, just a short walk from Aviemore centre. Wish I could have stayed longer. I will certainly be booking again.

“Amazing weekend at aviemore”

We generally travel to aviemore about 3-4 times a year. Normally we stay at the Hilton. After finding this chalet on holiday lettings we decided to give it ago. I am so happy we did. There was 4 adults staying. The chalet was amazing. One of the most important things to me is cleanliness. I have to say whoever cleans this chalet does an amazing job, it was spotless. It is very modern and homely. It is very spacious. The shower is fab. The owner was so helpful with any of my queries. The Hilton is now a thing of the past as we will now be staying at this chalet if it is available. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I just hope everyone who stays here treats it as if it was their home and keeps it to the high standard they find it in. Thanks to ian for his help and allowing us to stay at his chalet xx will most definitely be back.

“Fantastic Accommodation with stunning views & perfect location.”

Just returned following our 2 week stay in Aviemore, the accommodation was excellent & lovely, clean & modern. For the past 2 summers we have stayed at the Boat of Garten caravan site but decided to head more into Aviemore in order to be more central for all the cycle routes & trails. The caravan was a home from home with excellent amenities & the addition of the large shed was superb, proved more than enough room to store 4 bikes & bike rack. The communication from the owners was excellent with plenty of contact details left and txt messages. Absolutely loved the place only wish we could have stayed longer. The scenery around Aviemore is breathtaking and showcases Scotland at its best.

Very happy with accommodation spotless, clean, modern with lots of homely extras in a great location, one of the best places we have rented. Very close to all cycle routes, and 5 min walk to town great location and great views would love to return one day. Thanks to the owners Ian and Joyce.

Accommodation exceeded our expectations, very modern inside, with lots of little homely extras that made it ideal for our stay. We climbed the Cairngorm and Ben Macdui during our stay, the lodge provided a great place to relax after a day on the hills. Would definitely revisit and recommend to friends.

How do damage deposits work?
