“A Great Base for Skiing the Porte du Soleil” Clean, warm and comfortable, this apartment is just what you need for your ski base in this area. Situated on the slopes of St Jean-d'Aulps, access to the Roc d'Enfer ski area is an easy walk. You really need a car to access the rest of the extensive Porte du Soleil (although there is a bus service), but we found it straightforward to do so and had no problems with parking (free). The apartment is very well equipped and we even managed to cook and sit down to a full traditional Christmas lunch.

“We had a great ski holiday in chalet la penote” Had an amazing stay in Chalet LaPenote, the accommodation was warm and cosy, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The views are fantastic and it is only about 10 minutes walk into Les Gets. We skied in and out everyday of our holiday as the snow was good, putting our skis on outside the front door and skiing a few minutes down the road to the main runs. The ski runs this side of the mountains are really quite which we all enjoyed. I would love to come here in the summer to enjoy the French alps in the summer and do some cycling. this is great accommodation for a family group or friends who want to relax and enjoy each others company.

“Excellent accommodation, beautiful scenery, good food and friend” Excellent, clean, spacious and comfortable 5 star accommodation,nestled in a scenic back drop, quiet and peaceful yet seconds away from bakeries, restaurants and bars. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with luxurious en suite facilities. The kitchen and dining facilities left nothing to be desired and the lounge was perfect for relaxing and accommodated many people comfortably. It was nice to sit out in the garden in the evening. Abondance was close to many towns on lake Geneva by bus or car and with ski lifts close by to take you to the mountains for walking or mountain biking. I can only imagine how good it will be in the ski season. The weekend market and the Music festival added something special to the experience. I especially liked the clean & spacious accommodation,the picturesque town, the mountain scenery and fresh bread & croissants for breakfast each day I can't think of anything I did not enjoy during my week in Chalet alys it was wonderful.
