“Fantastic Family Skiing Trip In this Lovely House.....Recommended AA+” 3 Families drove to Morzine from Surrey and stayed at this completely renovated Chalet...House !! We have always gone Club med before so wasnt sure about self catering but it was great. The owners were absolutely brilliant and provided everything we needed before we arrived......best eateries best instructor best slopes etc. We had everything we needed and the Chalet was just up the hill from the village and lifts. We chose to drive down as there were so many of us and there is a car park just under the lifts.....PERFECT. I thought Morzine & "Chalet Roc" were brilliant and cannot wait to go back to "Chalet Roc" again in the new Year.

“Chatel Family Ski” Appt is just a 5-10 min walk below the town, which at least means you get get to stretch your muscles after a days skiing before you hit the bars / restaurants and then it's a nice descent back at the end of the night! Apt is spacious and in reasonable condition with underfloor heating (took a while to figure out the controls) and balcony looking over kindergarten ski area. Master bedroom ensuite was nice, others were simply furnished, but fine. Car parking on quite a steep hill by garages, ski locker room in lobby and ski boot rack outside front door.

“Comfortable with a great view” We stayed in the apartment in August . All was as advertised . The hosts in England were available and responded quickly to every request. Five of were very comfortable. The apartment and kitchen are well equipped. It is very well located in the center of Morzine and a short walk away from the main sports area and swimming pool, restaurants and shops. The view of Morzine and the mountains from the balconies off the lounge and bedroom are superb. Summer in the Alps is amazing and within ten to fifteen minutes drive from the apartment are stunning lakes , trails up to the summit of mountains, white water rafting, ropes parks and zip lines and many more attractions. We spent very little time in the car. There is ample parking at the apartment. A few minor irritations – the key handover is cumbersome, the guest hamper was welcome but we would have asked for different things and we would have preferred more toilet paper and dish washing liquid than unnecessary food items. I suggest the welcome booklet be updated and include simple washing machine instructions in English. Overall we were very happy with the apartment and I would happily recommend it to future guests.

“Excellent accommodation, beautiful scenery, good food and friend” Excellent, clean, spacious and comfortable 5 star accommodation,nestled in a scenic back drop, quiet and peaceful yet seconds away from bakeries, restaurants and bars. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with luxurious en suite facilities. The kitchen and dining facilities left nothing to be desired and the lounge was perfect for relaxing and accommodated many people comfortably. It was nice to sit out in the garden in the evening. Abondance was close to many towns on lake Geneva by bus or car and with ski lifts close by to take you to the mountains for walking or mountain biking. I can only imagine how good it will be in the ski season. The weekend market and the Music festival added something special to the experience. I especially liked the clean & spacious accommodation,the picturesque town, the mountain scenery and fresh bread & croissants for breakfast each day I can't think of anything I did not enjoy during my week in Chalet alys it was wonderful.
