Most spacious and best equipped ski apartment EVER

The apartment in Les Girolles was excellent. The location was excellent for the ski bus and supermarket. The walk to restaurants was about 15 mins which was OK. With the close proximity of the supermarket we ate in quite a few nights which made our stay cheaper. The local Hotel Chinfrey - which had a restaurant but wasn't open, had WiFi and was very friendly and wine was very cheap … see more

Fantastic little appartment.

impressed with the service from the chalet owners Ron and Melanie straight away. Very fast response to all enquiries at the point of booking and the excellent service continued throughout. The appartment is lovely and sleeps a small family adequately and is very well appointed, with plenty of storage.The internal garage is next to the appartment and allows you to keep items that take up space, close by but out of the way. Or just a perfect place to keep your beer chilling!! There was plenty of hot water for showers and the appartment was lovely and warm on returning from a days Ski. The bus stop is literally over the road and there is plenty of space for The Car. There is a Sherpa just down the road which is very handy when the town Supermarket is busy and you can’t face long queues. We generally stay in larger accommodation and wondered how we would cope in a smaller appartment. Fantastic chalet

We visited Les Gets on 3rd March for a weeks skiing with our 4 children, 1yr, 4yr, 12yrs and 16yrs. As soon as we booked the chalet Jean-Charles sent us all the info we needed to find the chalet, along with lots of great recommendations in the local area. He met us there upon our arrival and showed around his wonderful chalet. It was modern and well equipped with everything we needed, including a couple of bottles of fizz which went down a treat! The hot tub on the terrace was brilliant and we all loved it. If we needed help with with anything or any recommendations during the week Jean-Charles was always really quick to respond. You definitely need a car to get around easily, but the chalet is just a few minutes drive to the slopes. We were lucky with fantastic snow and skiing conditions and we had a great week. … see more

A very smart chalet which was good value for money with an organised owner

The Chalet was clean, convenient, well fitted with a good configuration of accommodation in attractive hillside location. It is ideal for a family or a few friends especially combined with the deliveries of breakfast and evening meals provided by Chalet Kitchen, made it a very competitive package which provides flexibility of your own chalet without being tied to a fixed meal time or the expense of eating out every night. Direct access to the slopes is via a short walk along footpath or some cunning off piste skiing. The 10- 15 minute walk into town is of no great inconvenience and helps stretch the legs after a day on the slopes. If you do not fancy the walk back the night bus is a good catch for 2 euros back up the hill. The village of Les Gets is a great base to ski from and the village has all amenities and character of a traditional Alpine village with a great variety of shops bars and restaurant. As a treat we would recommend the evening meal via Piste Basher at the Grande-Ourse, Mont Chery which is a quality one off quality experience. … see more
