Chalet La Penote is ideally situated on Mont Chery, the sunny side of Les Gets only a 3 minute walk to the nearest ski slope or jump on the ski bus which stops 20 metres outside the chalet, run all day in thy ski season from 7.30am to 7pm every half an hour. Les Gets center is a 15 minute walk downhill and a 20 minutes return! Ski Les Gets, with enough for a week or over to Morzine and the huge ski area of Portes du Soleil with Avoriaz, Chatel and Switzerland.

Les Gets is a very pretty Alpine town with an ice rink in the centre, there are a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops as well as a cinema (shows English speaking films) and bowling. In the summer you are in the heart of the most exciting and perfect road and mountain bike terrain. There is an 18 hole golf course just 5 minutes drive away and a 9 hole in Avoriaz (20 minutes away). Other activities nearby includes: para gliding, tennis, white water rafting, horse riding, canoing, high ropes and swimming.

There also many other ski areas within easy reach by car, including Samoen & Flaine.

Sleeps Max 17 people (7 Bedrooms) - ideal for 14 adults or 17 with children.

Kitchen with double sink, 2 single oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, Nespresso machine & filter coffee machine, kettle and toaster. Well equipped with plenty of pans and serving dishes.

A washing machine is located in the boiler room.

Large airy galleried open plan living room and dining area. Large solid antique oak dining table seats 12/14 comfortably & 16 with extra table. TV, boom box and free access to broadband Wi-Fi.

We have installing a stylish wood burner in the centre of the living area.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Helen (the owner) a message.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
