“An amazingly beautiful peaceful retreat” Thank you for the opportunity to spend an incredible 10 days at Villa Piantoni. From the ride to the Villa overlooking the Castle and Golf course, to the scent of the lavender and rosemary bushes upon our arrival we knew we had found a truly special place. The house itself was charming, and we enjoyed breakfast al fresco daily under the lovely portico overlooking the spectacular infinity pool and mountains. Your recommendations for restaurants and towns was much appreciated. The village of Montone was among our favorites as was the ferry ride on the vast Lake Trassimeno. We really had an opportunity to live with the local folks and look forward to returning to this wonderful place.

“Italian retreat to remember” We stayed for 10 days in Capanetta, the cottage of the villa. We were two couples and appreciated that both bedrooms were comparible. Capanetta was clean, comfortable and well fitted out. The golf club dining was excellent and the course full of challenges. Full use of the pool and gardens made for some great relaxing with superb views. Managers David and Chrissie were most obligong and helped us enjoy the local treats even more. Many thanks and would highly recommend a holiday here.
