“Luxury accommodation in a laid-back location.” My wife and I were travelling with my 90-year-old mother. When we were looking at booking Berta, Sam was concerned that Mum may not be able to climb the front steps or get in one of the free-standing showers. He even sent photos to help us make up our minds. We went ahead and booked for 5 days. We were met by Sam at the ferry and he took us for a quick tour of the area surrounding Sannat to show us food stores, eateries, etc. The photos do not do the accommodation justice. The pool and barbecue areas were secluded and inviting, the location was quiet and the washing machine and kitchen were a blessing. The WiFi was excellent. Service from Sam was first class. Nothing was a problem even when we extended our stay by another 2 days or when we had some relatives stay for a couple of nights. He was just like one of the family. Gozo is a beautiful island. There is so much to see, the people are friendly and the climate is mild in autumn. You could not go wrong by staying at Berta if you are going to Gozo.

“We couldn't have been made more welcome.” We didn't really know what to expect as we chose this villa and destination rather quickly one morning after a brisk trawl of the internet. We couldn't have been happier. Right from the word go, the owner, Marvik, was in touch via e-mail making sure everything would run smoothy. He arranged transport to and from the airport which included the ferry. We arrived a little tired at 4 in the morning, but Marvik's mother, Victoria, was there to show us around the house. The Villa was spotless, as was the pool. The pair continued to be on hand throughout the week helping us whenever we needed. It turns out that Kercem is a very quiet part of the island and the nearest supermarket is a one hour round trip if walking. So we soon elected to hire a car (luckily one of us brought their licence). Marvik was at the end of a phone and had arranged a car to be delivered to our door within two hours. At a very good price. So long as he'll have us (we did our best to keep the kids quiet around the pool) we'll be back.

“Fantastic Holiday - Perfect Villa” We stayed in Gozo at the end of May/beginning of June. We were a party of 4 adults and a 4 year old child. The owners of the villa, Pauline & Mario, made us feel very welcome, and were always on hand if needed. The transport, arranged by Pauline, from the airport to the villa was faultless. The villa itself was beautiful, Very spacious inside, and perfect for large parties and very well equiped. The pool was a big hit with our daughter, who was the first one in every morning at 7:30. We hired a car for a few days & visited Malta. We also purchased a weeks bus ticket (€6.50 per adult), which gave us unlimited travel around Gozo. The village itself is quiet, but has a few restaurants anfd supermarkets. We had lunch a few times in the cafe/patisserie in the square by the church. Very good value & delicious cakes. We used the Lighthouse supermarket, the fruit & veg market stall & the Aldi by Victoria. For dinner, the best restaurant to visit is Tal Furnar. The food is delicious. We went a few times, and there were so many tasty things on the menu. The owners were very friendly, and we loved chatting with them. Portions are massive. If it is a relaxing break that you are looking for, then Gozo is perfect.

“We had a great stay at Ta Mananni and would like to come back at once” We are a family with two teens and had 2 weeks at Ta Mananni. Each teen had his own bedroom and bathroom, and we loved to sit outside for eating together. The pool is great, even up to 2 meters deep. In the evening, the lights looked amazing. We loved Gozo, people are very friendly and Ray visited us two times. When we look at our photos, we would like to go back at once....

“The ideal place to switch off and bliss out” This is a lovely house on an unspoilt island – just perfect. The accommodation has everything you could need and has been done up to a very high standard – the sculptures dotted around the place helping to make it feel quite special. The house has, like the island, almost an ancient Biblical air with its bougainvillea-lined inner courtyard, the open corridor that connects the rooms on the upper floor and the arches everywhere. The kitchen is well-appointed (though with lots of great fish restaurants, we ate out a lot), the charming pool area is surrounded by plants and the view out onto Gharb in the valley below is lovely at sundown. There are all the facilities you could need, with two bathrooms, washing machine, TV and wifi, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived and the housekeeper was very helpful. The owner set up transfers and organised car hire for us ahead of time and everything went like clockwork. Gozo itself is a small, mercifully peaceful island and it's it's a very easy place in which to put your brain in neutral. The restaurants are good, not too pricey and the two biggest coastal towns Xlendi and Marsalforn (they're not big) are nice places for an evening stroll. We hired a speedboat from Xlendi – a lot of fun! There's great walking if you can be bothered and the beach at San Blas is one of the nicest we've experienced in the Med. Altogether a rather magical place.

“Lovely spacious villa - home from home” A lovely spacious, well-equiped villa that is very peaceful and private but shops/restaurants are only a couple of minutes stroll away. Anton was very helpful and sorted any issues we had quickly. We would definitely stay here again.
