“Improved Facilities Makes this Cottage Even Better!” We stayed here 3 years ago and absolutely loved it - always promising to return! Having decided to revisit, we were delighted to see that a swimming pool had been installed in the garden.
Indeed the whole property inside and out has been given a makeover, bringing it bang up to date. For the first 3 days we didn't feel inclined to leave the cottage and just enjoyed relaxing by the pool which even includes a 'counter current' if you feel the need to exercise!
The house accommodates 6 adults in comfort and 2 bathrooms ensures there's room for everyone. Sky TV and fast broadband is available and very welcome.
The town of Domme is a huge tourist attraction, so being 1 minute from the centre but in absolute peace and tranquility makes this a very special place. We'll be back!
“A wonderful week in a beautifully presented property” Our week was perfect in every way. The cottage is beautifully appointed, providing everything you could possibly need for a week away from home.
Our three young girls loved the garden and pool and it was only a short distance to the local town for all your daily provisions.
We would highly recommend this property.
“Best place to relax and enjoy Dordogne” I stayed here in April 2017. Never been to Dordogne before, but here I got a perfect base to do my touring from. Great hosts. They even got the swimming pool going for us in April, but then it was over 25 degrees for the whole stay, so it was fantastic. Sarlat is the closest town, beautiful and full of nice places for coffee and eating. I'm going back this summer. We also really enjoyed the restaurant close by. Don't rembember the name, but it was 5 min walking. Waking up in this place is a place for healing of the soul.
“A sweet little cottage close to a darling bastide village in the Frenc countryside” We loved our stay in this cottage, which was well set uo for cooking and relaxing. Rosemary provided complete information about the cottage and the village. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a glass of the complimentary Monbazillac wine and looking out over the meadow.
