“Improved Facilities Makes this Cottage Even Better!” We stayed here 3 years ago and absolutely loved it - always promising to return! Having decided to revisit, we were delighted to see that a swimming pool had been installed in the garden.
Indeed the whole property inside and out has been given a makeover, bringing it bang up to date. For the first 3 days we didn't feel inclined to leave the cottage and just enjoyed relaxing by the pool which even includes a 'counter current' if you feel the need to exercise!
The house accommodates 6 adults in comfort and 2 bathrooms ensures there's room for everyone. Sky TV and fast broadband is available and very welcome.
The town of Domme is a huge tourist attraction, so being 1 minute from the centre but in absolute peace and tranquility makes this a very special place. We'll be back!
“A wonderful week in a beautifully presented property” Our week was perfect in every way. The cottage is beautifully appointed, providing everything you could possibly need for a week away from home.
Our three young girls loved the garden and pool and it was only a short distance to the local town for all your daily provisions.
We would highly recommend this property.
“Really nice relaxing holiday” Jo & Ted did a nice job of looking after us and providing all the help we needed without interfering and without "adding the cost" for every little extra. The three properties were ideal for two extended families and the grounds and pool ideal and safe for the grandchildren. Good sightseeing as well as shopping nearby, and reasonable weather for end May. We all had a great time.
“A dream of a holiday home!” An absolutely fantastic house with everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday and more. The rooms are large, the bathrooms plentiful and the furniture is so tasteful. It was spotless and well equipped. The pool was a Godsend as the weather was beautiful. It is secluded and has plenty of seats, tables and sunbeds.
The house was well situated to visit vineyards, a lake with manmade beach, interesting towns such as St Emillion and Bergerac and a number of reasonable restaurants recommended by the helpful owners who were there if you needed them but not intrusive.
The village housed a friendly bar and hotel and held a special night in the village square during the Summer. It also had a bakery, shop, pharmacy doctors etc. I would recommend this beautiful house to anyone; couples, families etc.
