“Beautiful location, comfortable accommodation friendly and efficient owner.” There were minor technical problems with the gas, electrics, and internet connection. These were all dealt with by a phone call to the owner. We were hoping to use the bicycles in the garage but only one was operational. There did not seem to be enough hot water for 8 adults all needing to shower in the morning or throughout the day. The coffee and tea making could be improved by having a tea pot and tea cosy and a cafetiere suitable for the number of occupants. However, apart from these small irritations, the communication between the owner and us was excellent. The accommodation was more remote than we would have hoped but in a beautiful area ideal for walking and cycling and a quiet retreat. This was a spacious house with lots to do for a group of fit active people and lots to entertain a young family. The furnishings and decor was tasteful but practical and homely. We appreciated the fact that the owner invited us to a local walk and lunch on the day following our arrival.
