The West Country / Devon region

Devonshire Heartland provides some of the finest walking and cycling in the South West of England through a network of dedicated footpaths and sleepy country lanes.
If all this is not enough to keep you entertained, then our location within the county means that it is easy motoring to the North and South coastal regions and to Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. Should you feel a little adventurous then golf, horse riding, tennis, fishing and all-terrain quad bikes and go carts are all within easy reach.
The Tiverton / Witheridge area
Newhouse Farm Cottages is situated between the two market towns of Tiverton and South Molton. The barn enjoys beautiful views over-looking rolling countryside and is ideally situated for exploring Exmoor's gentle heather clad hills and Dartmoor's rugged splendour.
Tiverton, on the River Exe, boasts an excellent shopping centre, pannier market, an award-winning museum and the Grand Western Canal Country Park where horse-drawn barge trips and peaceful tow-path walks can be enjoyed. South Molton is rich in traditional architecture, the Guildhall building housing a glass-roofed pannier market.

Four generations of family had a great time in this lovely, spacious and well-equipped house. Elm Barn is a great place for a family to spend time together.
July 2008: guests from Scotland
Lovely house. Very spacious to put us all. Plenty for kids to do - they loved the trampoline, the pool and the walks around the fields to feed the ducks.
June 2008: guests from Wiltshire
We have had a super family time. All the children loved the pool and games room. Such a wonderful find! I'm sure we'll be back - thank you!

TROTTERS
September 2008: guests from USA and Cambridge
We really enjoyed our week here at Trotters. The weather was perfect, the scenery beautiful and lots of great places to visit. Local pubs very friendly and good food. Would love to return one day!
July 2008: guests from London
Loved the pool and games room and we enjoyed the badminton. The cottage was beautiful and very comfy! The wildlife is amazing and we loved watching swallows and buzzards soar in the sky. Thanks for the warm welcome!
July 2008: guests from Glasgow
We loved this place! We are hoping to come back next year, my mum says may be, but I want to! We had a fab time here! We enjoyed the pool, trampoline and the whole holiday! We swam in the pool 2 times a day. But we only went on the trampoline a few days. We went down to play pool for a few days as well.
May 2008: guests from Surrey
Had a really relaxing week in this perfect location. Pool/games room/grounds all excellent. Wildlife exceeded our expectation (highlight - nightly walk at dusk to watch the badgers by the pond/woods!). Will come again. Thank you.

THE LINHAY
March 2009: guests from Barnsley
Just fabulous. I found it really difficult getting out of bed whilst listening to the sound of the trickling stream. Open the doors and enjoy!
January 2009: guests from Kent
What a beautiful place to stay - wish we'd had longer! So lucky to enjoy The Linhay in all its 'newness'. Would recommend and hopefully re-visit soon. Thanks for having us.
