The transfer time from Faro airport is about an hour's journey along a newly built & generally very quite dual carriageway.
Free private car parking is available to the rear of the apartment.

This spacious apartment has a large living area with patio doors leading to the South Facing balcony. The open plan Lounge/ Dining area facilities include 32" LCD TV, DVD player, CD Player, I POD Dock, Sofa & 2 lounge chairs, Oak Dining table with 6 chairs & a portable air conditioning unit.
The kitchen has been fully fitted with integrated appliances including: fridge, freezer, dishwasher & microwave.
The apartment also houses a washing machine.
Each of the bedrooms have two single beds (4 in total). The bedrooms also have integrated wardrobe storage.
The fully tiled family bathroom has been recently refurbished & comprises full bathroom suite in white; Bath & Shower, WC, bidet & large towel radiator.

The Algarve, being the southern most region in Portugal, well known for its micro climate,
is a popular destination for tourists.
The Algarve's Islamic heritage is still noticeable in many cultural, historical and architectural aspects.
Visitors can appreciate a wide range of arts and crafts,not least pottery.
Simple but delicious foods based on an Mediterranean diet with plenty of fresh fish and shellfish.

Sightseeing
- The Algarve is acclaimed for its sporting facilities, especially superb golf and tennis with professional coaching. There are many top golf courses in the region, some for the most demanding of golfers.
See Europe's western-most point Cape St Vincent, or for the real Portugal drive inland and visit the atmospheric old town of Silves, the Moorish capital, dominated by its impressive castle.
The town of Sagres is where Henry the Navigator founded his famous Navigation School. You could visit the ruins of a Roman city near Vilamoura.
Beaches
- The Algarve boasts 47 Blue Flag beaches awarded in 2003, recognising high environmental, sanitory and safety standards. The Atlantic waters lap over 100 miles of beaches on the Algarve coastline, and Luz is particularly suited to the active holidaymaker with a watersports centre.
Eating out
-The Algarve is renowned for its wonderful seafood, giant prawns, lobster and grilled sardines.
Specialities also include spicy chicken piri-piri - charcoaled grilled chicken with a spicy marmalade.
Or, for those who prefer something milder, Catapalana is a delicious stew of meat or fish.
And not forgetting the famous green wine - "vinho verde".
Nightlife
- A lively nightscene is available in some of the larger towns of the Algarve, but Luz enjoys a more quiet and peaceful atmosphere with just a few bars and a disco.
Shopping
- Trawl through the open-air markets carrying local handicrafts at bargain prices - you'll find plenty of ceramic ware and tiles. Or explore Albufeirais old town, Vilamoura and Faro for more sophisticated shopping. Visit the Saturday market in Loule for local produce and handicrafts.

praia da luz is a lovely village not to over run with tourists great beach nice resteraunts. complex we stayed at the ocean club was fantastic with 4 pools apartment was comfortable and clean this was our second stay would highly recommend it. |

Found the apartment on HolidayLettings & it has been great. In the middle of all the Mark Warner clients who have paid loads of lolly, we have'nt felt out of place at all but have an amazing apartment. Very well equipped & with lovely furnishings & views. (plus DVDs, books, info and membership which is a bonus in itself!).
Have'nt been out tho so can give no tips, Sorry!. Pools are great 4 kids, ours swam on his own for the 1st time no armbands.

Fantastic Apartment, it was really comfortable and location was brilliant.
Owners extremely helpful & obliging when dates needed to be changed.
My only comment would be it would be helpful to have extra clothes dryer if a party of 4 were staying, otherwise could not fault it. Many thanks for helping make holiday so enjoyable and hassle-free.
The whole boarding procedure was uneventful and seamless, on arrival at the reception our bags were taken into the Ocean Club transport and we were taken to the apartment which was a lovely surprise.

We had a fantastic week at your beautiful apartment. Thank you so much ! What a view - absolute knockout to watch the sun come up across the ocean (on the couple of mornings that we were awake early enough to do so) ! And to be so near that fantastic pool WITH a bar, and wonderful sunshine.
The last time I was in the Algarve, the dual carriage way had not been finished, so I was amazed at how quickly we reached Luz.
Fab time had by all. Lots of sunshine, R&R, good food and good company. The view is wonderful and apartment v. comfortable, clean & beautifully decorated. Would love to return. Praia de P'Boro is pretty rubbish by comparison !!!!

We found Praia Da Luz an excellent spot - beautiful beach and plenty of places to eat. It's a good location to explore the West Coast to. We couldn't fault the apartment - very comfortable and what a fantastic view!
Hopefully we'll return, but no more Volcanoes I hope!

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds based on a maximum occupancy of 4 people.
There is a non-refundable deposit of 25% (of the total cost) to secure the booking.
The balance is due no later than 8 weeks prior to departure.
A separate £100 damage waiver per booking is payable with the balance.
This is refundable on your return (once the apartment has been checked).
Changeover day is flexible.
Check-in time 2pm / Check-Out time 10am unless arranged otherwise with the owner.
Cot & high chair facilities can be provided with prior notice, subject to a small additional cost.
Any other arrangements will be subject to prior agreement with the owner.
