Refurbished for the 2012 season, this is a luxurious villa, with 3 bedrooms (2 with a double bed & 1 with 2 single beds) all with en suite facilities & own balconies or terrace giving breathtaking views over Kalkan bay. There is also a bed settee in the lounge.Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen with table seating for 6 people, a lounge with seating for 6 people & a WC. The kitchen & lounge also have uninterupted views over the bay, with sliding doors leading out to the sun terrace.The sun terrace area offers 6 sun loungers & 2 parasols around the private infinity pool, again with stunning views over the bay. A table & 6 chairs are also provided for outdoors dining. A gas BBQ is available.The landing to the roof terrace has a "mini bar" type fridge for cool drinks. The pool is not suitable for children or babies as there are no railings around it to prevent them falling over the sides of the infinity walls. The pool is approximately 2 metres deep all round.

This property is ideal for a relaxing sunshine holiday. With full self catering facilities, including a gas BBQ and a private pool & terrace there is no need to leave the villa.Full air conditioning allows for comfortable temperatures at all times & with TV & i pod station you can provide your own entertainment. A Playstation 2 is available, which can also be used to play DVDs & CDsThe kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher & gas cooker/oven & is complete with cutlery, crockery, glassware & cooking utensils..A further "mini bar" type fridge for storing cool drinks is supplied on the landing leading out to the roof terrace.Each of the bedrooms has en suite shower & WC facilities, with a bath also available off one of the double bedrooms. A washing machine & ironing board are situated on the 3rd level. Bedlinen & towels, including pool towels are provided & cleaning is done 3 times during a 2 week stay and midweek of a 1 week stay. Please feel free to use the washing machine to "freshen up" towels between cleaning if required. A safe is available for valuables.

This property is ideal for an outdoor holiday without leaving the villa. Its south facing aspect gives the benefit of the evening sun staying well after other villas are in shade.On the first level it has a private pool & gardens. 6 cushioned sun loungers & 2 parasols are supplied together with a pool side dining table, 6 chairs & a gas BBQ. A table tennis table is also supplied.Bedrooms 1 & 2 are on the second level & share a balcony accessed through sliding doors from each bedroom. The balcony has a table & 2 chairs.Bedroom one also has a separate balcony accessed from another door. Level 3 leads out to the roof terrace with a large corner settee, for 6 people & a coffee table for enjoying a refreshing drink while watching the sun set over Kalkan Bay. Pool towels are provided, so please only use the white towels in the bathrooms.

Villa is inspected before & after each rental period. Any damages must be paid for in full.Due to previous unfortunate incidents, we have to ask for a refundable deposit of £150 against any potential damages or breakages. This will be returned within 2 weeks,once the caretaker confirms there has been no damage during your stay.

The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
When you do want to leave the villa, the sea is only a 2 minute stroll, with a choice of 3 beach clubs offering full water sports facilities, sun loungers for hire & bars/restaurants. Other beaches to note are Kaputas (shingle, with few amenities, but beautiful tourquoise sea) & Patara (sandy, with sun loungers & a cafe), both a short 10 to 20 minute drive away respectively. Taxis know them both, or they can be reached by the local buses (Dolmus).
Restaurants & hotels are only a few minutes walk from the villa. One of these has tennis facilities & mountain bikes for hire. A supermarket is also only a short walk away.
For a bigger selection of entertainment, Kalkan town is only 2 km away.this quaint old fishing village is situated at the foot of the beautiful Taurus mountains, on the Mediterranean coast in Turkey's historic Lycian region. It offers shops, bars, & a selection of over 100 restaurants, many of which have roof top terraces with sea views, or are at the harbour. Free wi-fi is widely available in the bars & restaurants near the villa & in Kalkan town.
The local bus (Dolmus) runs from Kisla to Kalakan every hour between 10.00am & 1.00pm and 4.00pm & 8.00pm & is very inexpensive (1.5 Lira per journey in 2010).Taxis are also readily available. During the high season a water taxi runs from the nearest beach club to Kalkan harbour until 6.00pm or 7.00pm each day.
For the more active, it is about a 30 minute walk from the villa into Kalkan.
Organised trips can be booked through local tour operators to various historic sites such as Roman amphitheatres, sunken cities and St. Nicholas' tomb. Boat trips with lunch included can also be booked for very reasonable prices.
Car hire is readily available.
The local Thursday market is also worth a visit.
The Kalkan / Kisla area
Curled into an historic harbour & overlooking a beautiful bay, this upmarket peaceful resort is ideal for a relaxing holiday. More sophisticated than the usual resort town, according to the Sunday Times, Kalakan attracts the kind of visitor who would enjoy Tuscany or the Dordogne. The Guardian likens it to "the Italian Riviera minus the poseurs."
Narrow streets twist down to the harbour, lined with old whitewashed villas with shuttered windows, situated alongside small local speciality shops & restaurants in historic buildings. Overhead hang original carved Ottoman Greek timber balconies garlanded with thick masses of brilliantly coloured Bougainvillea cascading to the streets below.
Kalkan's many excellent restaurants contribute to the town's special atmosphere. There are over 100 of them & Kalkan is said to have the highest number of restaurants and bars per inhabitant on the Turkish coast. It is especially renowned for its numerous roof terrace restaurants & bars offering wonderful views of the town & the sea.

The villa was just right for our needs; well furnished, quiet and private. It was also perfectly positioned with wonderful views and a short walk down to the beach club where we snorkelled, hired jets skis and took the water taxi to Kalkan. The restaurants in Kalkan serve excellent food and are very reasonable with friendly staff who remembered us from day to day but were never too pushy. I enjoyed having a varied vegetarian menu everywhere we ate, and the boys enjoyed trying out different cocktails before dinner. It was our second visit to Kalkan and we preferred Kisla to being on the other side of Kalkan at Kalamar. We will definitely be returning again - both my teenage sons said it was our best holiday ever. |

We travelled as a group of 3 couples in their 20's on the 13th august for a weeks stay in "Villa Keros". After a long and exhausting journey from Dalaman airport on the "interesting" Turkish roads we breathed a huge sigh of relief when we saw the bay of Kalkan in all of its night time glory! Gareth the friendly property manager met us at the service station and we followed him to the villa where we were not disappointed!!! Even at 1.30am we could see how beautiful the Villa and its "unintterfuped" views were. The facilities at the Villa were excatly what we needed for the self catered holiday we had planned. The villa's location was close to the bay of Kalkan (about a 3-5 minute drive) and with the use of our hire car we found what we needed easily. We were amazed at what we could get for our lira in terms of food and alcohol! Most of our time was spent at the Villa around the pool area but we visited the Kalkan beach club a couple of times to take part in some of the water sports (Which were very well priced: 80 lira for 20 mins on a jet ski, 35 lira pp for water sofa and rings) and on our last day ventured to Gocek, which is well worth the visit! (A town with a beautiful marina on the way back to Dalaman from Kalkan) Before going to Turkey most of us were not sure what to expect but I would definately consider visiting Kalkan and the Villa keros again. The Turkish people were very friendly and the town was quiet with a relaxing atmosphere. |

Villa Keros was very comfortable,clean and well equipped.The local agent was friendly and helpful ,always available for advise and acted promptly when there was a problem(This was just a pump failure with the pool due to a small blockage).THe beach club was basic but the food was good and everyone was friendly.If you buy a drink you get a free ferry ride across the bay to Kalkan which is a lovely way to arrive for your evening stroll and delicious meal.There are some great restaurants,we particuary liked the rooftop restaurants ,looking across the bay while we ate ,and Aubergine served some amazing Grouper fish.We will definitely be returning to Kalkan |

Just a quick note to say how pleased we were with the Villa Keros, and you’re booking service. Right from our very first contact, you dealt with our initial enquiry in a very prompt and professional manner, the advice you gave us, re the villa and the way you handled the transfer from airport to the villa was faultless. At the hotel in Kalkan the manager spoke very highly of you and Colin and extra thanks to you as you made all the arrangements for us to store our cases as our flights did not co-inside with the previous booking.
The hotel afforded us the best service as if we were staying with them for the week, not just a couple of hours. Needless to say we booked up for the cabaret night with them and had a great time. The villa was first class in every way, in fact it was the perfect 'dream home in the sun', everything was faultless and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for excellent accommodation.
The beach taxi from the villa into Kalkan was fun, the infinity pool and barbeque, and ALL the items down to plates’ knives, dish washer, washing machine, towels, room cleaning, sun chairs, I could go on and on.
In short; it was everything a self booked villa holiday should be, coupled with your help and guidance. “It does everything it says on the tin” Excellent

The cost from/to Dalaman is approx £115 return for 3 by car,or £135 return per group (up to max 6) by mini bus & should be paid to the caretaker when receiving the keys on arrival. - Antalya slightly more. Any damages,breakages, excessive cleaning or laundry must be paid for in full. A separate refundable £150 deposit is required against any potential damages, breakages, or extra cleaning/laundry. The villa is inspected before & after occupancy. The villa needs to be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure & may not be available for occupancy until 4.00pm on the arrival day.
The owners cannot accept responsibility for any delays or cancellation due to flight delays/cancellations, or volcanic ash problems.
