"Wonderful Characteristic place to stay...."

Our family were so impressed with this beautiful cottage. It is in a great location for the City Center of Chester (1 min walk). I loved all the extra special touches that Barbara & Andrew had done with the place and will definitely being staying again. I am living abroad at the moment and needed a place to stay whilst visiting my family...they were also charmed with this cottage. Thank you to both for making this place feel like a home from home. See you on my next visit!!

"Amazing stay in Chester, great location, clean, and well decorated!"

Barbara and Andrew provided a great place for my coworkers and I. We were working at Airbus for the week and everything went perfectly for us. They even had a breakfast basket for us and an air mattress upon request. We loved using the modern kitchen and all the rooms were cozy and cute. They met us at the door with the keys and helped us sort out parking and showed us around.Really comfy beds! Everyone in my group was pleased!

"Fabulous property and hosts"

As expats, we've rented many properties around the UK whenever we came home for our holidays or school visits. Douglas house is one of the best we've stayed at. The house is full of character but with all the latest mod cons to make the stay wonderful. The location of the house is great, you certainly don't need a car there but permit parking is available right outside.

Barbara and Andrew are wonderful hosts and provided us with a nice hamper to get us started. Would love to have cooked a nice meal using the wonderfully equipped kitchen but only managed to cook breakfast. There are just too many nice places to eat, all within walking distance.

Will definitely be telling our friends and family about this gem.
