About the home

This new apartment is furnished to a very high standard and is fully air conditioned with reversible units(hot/cold) and double glazing on all patio doors and windows. It is in the heart of Carvoeiro which has dozens of excellent restaurants and bars yet retains a village atmosphere. Ideal for a holiday at any time of the year, there are many attractions, beaches and golf courses within easy driving distance of the apartment. The lovely Carvoeiro beach is less than 4 minutes easy walk from the apartment (on the level, no hills) past the many interesting shops, bars and restaurants. There are other beautiful beaches within walking distance.

This luxury first floor apartment can be reached by either stairs or elevator and has two bedrooms. The beautiful master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and over bath shower, the other bedroom has twin beds and an adjoining shower room. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. There is a spacious living/dining room with a double bedsettee and a flat screen TV with satellite providing English channels and a DVD player. Both bedrooms, kitchen and lounge all have patio doors leading onto the large balcony which overlooks the village street, ideal for al fresco meals or watching the world go by.

The patio doors are double glazed and have electric shutters. For winter lets, the air con units are reversible (hot/cold) and we also provide oil filled radiators and electric heaters in both the bathroom and showerroom.

Further details outdoors:
The apartment block has secure parking on ground level, you will be provided with a fob to open the electric garage doors. There is direct access from the garage into the apartment building. The balcony has table and chairs and two very comfortable sun loungers.

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve coast streches 100 miles from Cape St Vincent in the west to the Spanish border in the east. The area is renowned for wonderful beaches. The beaches in the west are more rugged and dramatic with rock formations and coves. The coastline in the east has long sandy beaches. Further inland you can explore the heritage and history of the Algarve.

The region is a delight to explore on foot. Coastal walks to the beaches of Benagil & Praia Do Carvalho offer spectacular views and tranquil scenery. Further afield the Monchique hills, the national forest and the historic town of Lagos may be visited.

The whole family can enjoy the areas waterparks and the Zoo Marine with its interactive dolphin displays.

The Carvoeiro / Central Carvoeiro area

The village is a bustling coastal community with a recently upgraded village square that is a great meeting place.

Carvoeiro has a wide range of shops with butchers, bakers, banks, pharmacies. There is a large supermarket on the outskirts with fresh produce for all your self-catering needs.

There are many fine restaurants to choose from as well as bars and cafes. There is a wide range of cuisine available with a range of prices. Be sure to try the trational Portuguese dishes Cataplana and Chicken Piri Piri before you go home.

For golfers there are two championship courses (Gramacho and Vale Da Pinta) located between Lagoa and Carvoeiro. These are laid out amoungst olive groves, carob, fig and almond trees. There is also a golf academy with driving range on site.

Faro is the nearest airport and is well served by both budget and charter airlines from all over the UK and Europe. It is approximately 45 minutes drive to Carvoeiro, most of the journey on the motorway. Detailed directions can be found on our website.
