The house is located in a cul de sac with free parking and no through traffic. Outside the front door is a gated covered, area with a couple of chairs, great for those quiet few moments of reflection in the shade!
Just inside the front door is a bathroom with shower and stairs to the bedrooms. The main living area comprises a bright pleasing lounge with comfortable seating, flat screen TV, and a dining table which seats 4. Off the living room is a separate kitchen which is well-equipped with electric kettle & toaster, electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine etc. The lounge has doors to the sunny patio and pool area where there is patio furniture and sunbeds. There is also direct access the pool and patio area from the kitchen, and there is a charcoal BBQ on the patio.
Upstairs there are 2 en-suite bedrooms and access to a small roof terrace. The master bedroom has a 5 ft bed and opens onto a sunny veranda overlooking the pool area where there is a table and 2 chairs to relax and enjoy views of the natural park to the right, and views towards the sea to the left. The master bedroom's en-suite bathroom has a whirlpool bath with shower over and toilet and bidet. The twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room and views of the natural parque.The pool size is 11 ft x 23 ft and is regularly maintained. From the pool area there is a door giving access to Rua Agricola at the back of the villa.The villa is fully air-conditioned, and there are electric shutters. There is free wi fi. The nearest restaurant is about 2 minutes walk. The village square is less than 5 minutes walk and the beautiful blue flag sandy beach is a couple of minutes further.
Burgau, even though it is just a small village, has so many excellent restaurants where you can savour the freshly caught fish and local produce. You can enjoy traditional food as well as some other ethnic foods. Some restaurants provide a take away service and there are a couple of friendly bars. There are a few small supermarkets and markets as well as gift shops and an ATM and there is a regular bus service to Luz and Lagos, the regional capital, which has historic buildings, forts and intact old city walls within which there are narrow, winding paved streets lined with shops, restaurants and bars, and there is a long palm-fringed waterfront with a foot bridge leading to the modern marina and to Meia Praia beach.This is the perfect place to leave your cares behind and just relax and enjoy the sun and the friendly atmosphere!
