About the home

The apartment is located in the Quinta dos Arcos part of Armacao de Pera, it is in a new build apartment block that is furnished to an exceptionally high standard. It comfortably sleeps 4/6, there are 2 bedrooms both with 2 single beds and air conditioning. There is a large, luxurious living room with patio doors onto the balcony (with BBQ).

A shared swimming pool is located on the roof of the apartment and the sea, bars and local restaurants and miles of golden sandy beach are just a short walk away.

For those that play golf, they will be spoilt for choice with over 20 courses available locally. Underground secure car park is provided. Only a few minutes drive to local attractions such as Zoo Marine, Algrave Shopping and several water parks.

Clean linen, towels (sorry, not beach towels), final clean, and meet and greet (on request).
Weekly clean and towel/linen change is available on request at cost.

Both bedrooms contain 2 single beds, these can of course be put together to make doubles.

In the lounge there is a 2 seat sofa and a 3 seat sofa bed. The Master bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and a small safe is provided to keep your valuables in.

There is a communal swimming pool on the roof of the apartment block. This also includes a shower area and "bathroom" facilities. Near by there is a pool bar with several pools and a large dining area, (there is a small daily charge payable at the bar).

A payment of 25% or £100 (€115), whichever is greater secures your booking. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to your stay. A refundable damage deposit of £150 (€175) is also to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.

The deposit will be refunded 1 week after departure subject to no damage.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds and an approximate value in Euros. A 2nd week discount of 10% between May & September. A 2nd week discount of 20% between October & April. Discounts also available for periods between 1 & 2 weeks (i.e. 10 days) or for periods over 2 weeks.

Conditions

The Armacao de Pera / Quinta dos Arcos area

Armação de Pêra was named after the inland region of Pêra in Portugal, where the fishermen came down from originally and Armação, which was a specially adapted boat, with a combined netting system, designed by the Moors. Today Armação de Pêra is a lively high-rise Algarve resort, which is very popular with Portuguese holidaymakers in the summer. It has a wonderful long sandy beach stretching all the way to Praia de Galé.

Arriving on the outskirts of Armação de Pêra, there are now huge numbers of new apartments along with new roads and roundabouts to link it all together. The centre (centro) and the beach (praia) are clearly signposted, and there are several roads leading to the beach, so if you miss the first one, don't worry!

There is a large area of ground at the western end where you can park and another large area at the eastern end by the fishermen's beach, along with a multi-storey by Pingo Doce supermarket.

The apartment is approx 40km from Faro Airport which is around 30 mins by car.

Many budget and Charter Airlines fly into Faro including; Easyjet, Monarch Airlines, British Airways & Aer Lingus

Taxis are fairly reasonable or airport transfers can be arranged at a competitive rate If required, we can arrange a quote for you (via our local agent).

“Good property in good location” Booking the property was very easy and the owner very helpful. The property was excellant, DVD's very useful to keep family amused, when in the property, roof top pool good for relaxing in the sun. Location was very good as it was only a short walk down to the prommande, town and beach.

We have been visiting Armacao de Pera for over 16 years and this was our first stay in the Quinta dos Arcos area. Jon and Caroline have made a superb job in decorating and furnishing the apartment. The accommodation was extremely well appointed and we would certainly consider returning in the near future.

We arrived late in the evening to find a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge along with drinks and fresh food to keep us going until we got to the shops. The apartment was very spacious and clean with a good supply of towels and toiletries. Our girls loved the rooftop swimming pool and with the beach only a 5 min walk, we were spoilt for choice! The visitor guide book was very helpful with advice on where to eat out and places to visit. We referred to it often! We were very impressed with how well the kitchen was equipped. It gave us the choice of eating in where we could make use of the BBQ on the patio. The DVDs and games supplied were great at keeping the girls entertained. The apartment had a real home from home feel which meant the whole holiday was very relaxing. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

Great walking distance to beach but if have car drive to Portimao & try beach called Praia da Rocha - absolutely stunning. Even though we were here only for a few days, it felt much longer!
