“Customized vacation with a personal touch” Karen and Diego assisted our large group to experience Sicily from the inside out. The villa is lovely and quiet, set atop a hill with a wonderful view of Taormina, Castelmola, Mt Etna and the Mediterranean. Since the location is remote, the hosts provided transportation and tourist services to ensure that our vacation was fantastic, from traditional cafe and croissant start to the day, to accompanied tours to agrigento, Valley of the Temples, Mount Etna, etc. The highlights for me were the meal that Karen and Diego prepared, at our request, on our first night, and the cooking class with Rosaria, which allowed us to assist and learn the preparation of a typical Sicilian meal, which was fantastic! And the wine and olive oil made on premises by the owners! Thank you, Karen and Diego, for a memorable, relaxing, exciting vacation that sets a new standard for our group...of which you have both now become honorary members!

“Truly excellent!” You won't be disappointed with this lovely apartment. It is quiet, and clean with everything you need, and with a cute little garden with a hammock in to catch the sun. However the best part of renting this accommodation are the owners, Debora and Salvo! Nothing is too much trouble for them..they are so friendly and helpful...always happy to chat, as well as giving us fabulous tastes of their self-sustained life in sicily....homemade wine (delicious!!), oil, eggs from their own hens!! And they were thrilled to involve our 5 year old son in their day...collecting eggs in the morning or watering the vegetables in the evening....our son loved it! The apartment is located in a great part of Sicily and as long as you have a car, nothing is too far away. We will definitely be returning to stay here..it was excellent value for money for June, when the weather was warm and sunny but not too unbearable. The place might be a bit tricky to find if you arrive late at night like we did...but one phone call and salvo came out to find us...that's just the kind of people they are !
