Loved the pool, gardens,outdoor BBQ area and sea views. Villa has all creature comforts and a beautifully finished interior. We had a fantastic stay!

“Great location, only 5min walk to the beautiful beach of Sao Rafael” We stayed at Sao Rafael apartment in mid July. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. The location was perfect with only a 5 minute walk to Sao Rafael beach. Located at the end of the beach is a rental hut where you can hire paddle boards etc. We used the paddle bout a number of times. Also located on the beach is a restaurant. We had a great meal at the tapas located on the road to Gale beach, only 20mins walk. The pool in the estate was fantastic with a shallow and deep end reaching down to a depth of 2.7metres. By the pool they also provided sun beds and inside a pool table, toilets, coffee machine, vending machine and sitting area. The apartment was modern, and had a spacious balcony that had a slight view of the sea. You will need beach towels. Geoff and Lynne provided excellent information about the area and the directions from Faro airport to the apartment and information about the apartment was spot on. We recommend going to Slide and Splash Water Park. Our family enjoyed the whole day there. Queues can be long though so arrive early. We got a lot of use out of our hire car but an option may be to split the hire (e.g hire in 2nd week) if you intend exploring beyond the local area. Always try and bring sun umbrellas with you in the car because you never know when they will come in handy. Thankfully the apartment provided a couple of them. They also provided a couple of boogie boards, buckets and spades and lilos which we used often. We defiantly would consider staying again next year. Murray and family
