Amazing, simply amazing. A small, well-equipped apartment in the best location on Ischia. Maria is a lovely hostess - she lives next door and is there if you need anything but never intrudes (except to bring delicious cakes). She also left us everything we needed to make Pasta al tonno on our first night plus a plentiful supply of fresh coffee and a large bottle of water. The apartment has 3 sets of French doors which lead onto the 2 balconies. The views are to die for - definitely the best on the island. In fact we ate in every evening of our week-long stay as there was no better view from any of the restaurants. Days started with coffee, fresh fruit, bread and cheese watching the local fishermen returning with the day's catch and ended with the sound of the sea lulling us gently to sleep. Don't think I have ever slept so soundly or so sweetly. At night as we sat on the balcony or lay in bed we were transfixed by the beautiful moon-path shining across the sea and ending just below us. A true haven of peace and tranquility. Thank you so much Maria for allowing us to share this most wonderful of places. Mario & Sue see more
