Molino Meocci: Tuscany border
peaceful, restorative, clean and welcoming place

We visited again and loved it again - the house felt loved and well tended - with plants and flowers outside and food to welcome us in the fridge. we were with family and friends and enjoy the space and warmth of the place. There is a visitors book outlining interesting places to visit and eat and we make more discoveries each time. We saw a wild tortoise in the woods this time. We love going for a walk up the river and having a bathe too. We now get eggs and milk from the farm up the road. We never see many people and enjoy the peace. Its good for anyone wanting a peaceful place near lots of beautiful places. We usually hire bikes - even though its hot and hilly - others like to hire a car but you can get there from Venice/Pisa or Rome on the train, then bus and a walk up a hill - we like that journey into Italy. Its on the Umbrian/Tuscany border - gorgeoussee more
