This quaint and quirky apartment in Whitby sleeps two people in one mezzanine bedroom.Nutshell is a splendid and unusual apartment in Whitby, accessed via 16 external steps and set over the first floor. With one mezzanine double bedroom reached via open tread, spiral stairs and a wet room with luxury underfloor heating, this cottage can sleep up to two people. There's also a bright seaside-themed sitting room set below the bedroom and a lovely galley-style kitchen. Outside is a tiny sitting area beside the front door on the patio and within five minutes' walk is a car park, of which the owner provides a permit with parking on a first come, first served basis. Nutshell is a sweet little property, perfect for couples seeking a snug hideaway in wonderful Whitby.

Amenities: Electric central heating with underfloor heating in wet room. Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Parking permit for Westcliff car park provided, 5 mins walk away. Small front patio area with furniture by steps. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, pubs, harbour and beach 5 mins walk. Note: Property accessed via 16 external steps with open tread, spiral stairs to mezzanine bedroom, care to be taken. Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.
