Getting around

Being rural Public Transport is limited to access the area requiring the use of a car to find us but once there the roads are well made, but can be challenging - community transport, vintage buses, and the Wensleydale Railway offer an opportunity to experience a trip around the area the 'Old Way'

Whilst operating 'Self Entry' to the property, allowing a flexible arrival time after the agreed property access time, we are on hand on a daily basis during your visit to resolve any operational concerns that may arise be it by phone, text or email

“Prospect Barn”

This is our second time at Prospect Barn and both times we have enjoyed being at the property. The cottage is well equipped and modern. There are superb walks close by with stunning views around the countryside. We will most certainly be back. Pat and Mark

“Hi spec, very comfortable Barn conversion”

Loved our stay in this exceptional barn conversion. Very hi spec and extremely warm and comfortable and beautifully cleaned to a ver high standard. We were fortunate enough to have most of the week to ourselves, the shared parking & garden with the farmhouse makes it less attractive & although driveway accommodates 2 vehicles they cannot be parked side by side which makes it a little difficult getting in & out, otherwise would have been 5 star.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind words, particularly in view of adverse comments made by guests about the Barn in an earlier review, and we are pleased you were pleased with your holiday experience with us has it is always encouraging to receive positive feedback - At Niche Holidays we pride ourselves in endeavouring to meet or exceed our guest’s holiday experience expectations and to receive a positive review makes our efforts to please all that more rewarding – Thank you again and we hope to enjoy your company at some time in the future - For reference for future guests the Parking arrangement is a subjective issue being adequate to accommodate the prescribed amount of vehicles for both properties and it is well worth the minor inconvenience of talking to the Farmhouse guests or vice versa (should they be in occupation) to enjoy the benefit of 'Off Road' parking which in the village of West Witton is like enjoying a lottery win!
