Location description from owner

The Gwynedd region

Mountains, beaches, castles together in an area of outstanding natural beauty right at the edge of Snowdonia National Park are all easy to get to. The area is teeming with history starting with splendid burial chambers 3000BC through Edward3rd's magnificent castles of Caernarfon and Conway to much industrial archaeology of the 19th century when Penrhyn's famous slate found it's way all over the world. Pretty towns of Betwys y coed and Beddgelert not far away.

Tregarth

Mountains, small gage railways, castles, beaches, fishing; the variety and choice is amazing even if there is a wet day.
