Namaste Farms is a beautiful and quiet (with the exception of animal/farm sounds) private working farm located in the heart of the wine country situated down a wide and maintained disintegrated granite/dirt rd. While the cottage is only 1/2 a mile from the city limits it has a rural feel and is centrally located to all wineries. Enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses and Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If you're are horse person, Namaste Farms is ~2 miles from Galway downs and most other major equestrian show grounds (including Green Acres and Casner Ranch).
If wine tours and fine dining is your thing, Temecula Valley wineries are all within 1/2-3.8 miles from cottage gates and on back country roads which are all paved.
This booking is for the main cottage which is upscale and comfortable. It includes a kitchenette, and charmingly rustic bathroom and galvanized steel shower. The main cottage also contains the loft (entered via a ladder) so please tell us if you prefer not to sleep in the loft so we may make up the beautifully adorned ground floor bed. We must know ahead of time because it's a bit of a production to bring in alternate bed!
If you like hanging out on the farm, we welcome you to explore. There is a communal area with a fire pit, grill and patio furniture to hang out and roast marshmallows or simply sit and enjoy the musings of sheep, goats, horses, peacocks et al... We encourage guests to feel at home and enjoy the peaceful farm environment which extends beyond the cottage.
Please keep in mind that we are not a "pretend farm" set up to simply attract people to our facility. This is an actual working farm where shepherdess, Natalie Redding (Nat Geo Wild's, Shear Madness) and her working dogs, Lacey, Lad and Nesta work every day. This means there is dirt, dust, chickens, peacocks, alfalfa, sheep, bugs, and other living beings associated with nature and farm life. People who've not had the opportunity to experience the beautiful and grounding life on a working farm may not understand this. I do stress that if you're an animal lover who is excited about staying at a true working farm, your co-guests may not share your verve. Please let them know there is dirt, dust, very little concrete or pavement, and they will surely leave with dust on their shoes. That said, I'm a frequent Louboutin wearer and I regularly chassé in my stilettos; dirt ground and all.
If you have more people in your party, there is another cottage, the Hay Barn cottage in a separate listing.
We welcome you and hope you choose to stay with us. If you're looking for a wedding venue, for a very reasonable price, you can rent our facility for your own "Farm Wedding."
