“Charming and Cozy in a town with tons of character” I had the pleasure of spending a serene 3days in Patagonia with my Husband. I loved the layout and the fact that it is fully furnished including a brand new washing machine and dryer unite! The location was ideal. We had easy access to a number of mountain trails, the eclectic shops and a stones throw away from the local Karioke restaurant and bar. We were able to take a wonderful scenic drive over to Tombstone (which is a must see if you're into the history of that place). All in all it was a wonderful getaway, we look forward to the next time our schedules allow. Thank You Jan, you have a beautiful little haven up there.

Holiday log cabin in Arizona

Flagstaff log cabin

3 bedrooms • 2 bathrooms • sleeps 8

“Beautiful cabin in a beautiful area” I am so happy that I decided to rent a cabin for the weekend instead of staying at a hotel. This cabin is beautiful and can best be described as a home away from home. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are large and everything that you can possibly need (except food and personal items) is there. We really enjoyed the view from the decks - - lots of trees and a canyon in the back. It's very peaceful and the neighbors are friendly. The cabin is located just a few miles from downtown Flagstaff so is very convenient, but, is far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. And, if you just can't manage to be away from technology for a few days, also has Hdtv with cable and WiFi. I will definitely keep this cabin in mind for future trips. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

Arizona holidays

Arizona is a mash-up of Native American, Mexican and American cultures. With college towns sprinkled between major metropolises like Tucson and Phoenix, this state possesses a most unique identity. Much of the state is made up of wild, rugged, untamed terrain that takes on a majestic and spiritual quality in the sprawling Sonoran Desert. There is plenty in Arizona to attract both nature lovers and those who prefer the comforts and amenities of civilisation, from campgrounds in Arizona to the bright lights of Phoenix.

Some of Arizona's most famous attractions include:

  • The Grand Canyon: Arizona's signature attraction is the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, which attracts millions of visitors every year and is one of America's most iconic and incredible nature sites. It is the most popular of the many Arizona National Parks in the state.
  • Tonto Natural Bridge: The world's largest natural travertine bridge, Tonto Natural Bridge is located about 10 miles north of the city of Payson and offers one of the most unique viewing experiences in the continental United States.
  • Phoenix: A cosmopolitan oasis in the midst of Arizona's deserts, Phoenix buzzes with cultural events, museums, theatres, professional sports and brims with southwestern pride. If you're bringing the family on your trip, remember that many of the amusement parks in Arizona are located in the greater Phoenix area.
  • Monument Valley: Located in the Navajo Nation near the Arizona-Utah border, Monument Valley is home to the state's starkest and most unique desert landscapes.
  • World-class golf courses: Some of the country's best-reviewed and most scenic golf courses are located in Arizona, and with year-round warm weather, anytime is the perfect time to get your game on. Golf Arizona packages are widely available through online and traditional travel agencies.

Arizona's hot, dry climate makes it a perfect place to visit any time of year. Getting a cabin or a condo holiday rental for your stay in Arizona is a smart alternative to renting a hotel room. These accommodations offer more space and privacy, and they are widely available whether you want to rough it in the wilderness or base your visit in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson or any of the state's other major cities.

If you want to explore the surrounding area, remember that Arizona borders Mexico to the south. You can also head into neighbouring California, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico or Colorado by using Arizona's easily accessible Interstate highway system.

Gingy Vista Home Sedona
Perfect location and perfect house

My partner and I were looking for a place to rent in Sedona and reviewed all the possibilities. I am a hiker and he is a biker and we have a dog. After looking at the map of available locations I selected the Ginny Vista because it was near a bunch of trailheads. I did not know that technically it was in Village of Oak Creek (VOC) but that turned out to be perfect too. Where to begin? The house is wonderful with a great back and front porches. Sunrise in the morning from the back porch and sunset from the front. The neighborhood is so quiet and pleasant that you could spend your time at the house reading on a porch and be perfectly happy - but don’t!!! The house is also amazingly equipped and we rarely ate out because by the end of the day we were exhausted and just wanted to eat and head to bed to get enough rest for the next day. The house is 2 blocks from multiple trailheads and in my opinion some of the best in Sedona area. Annie the dog and I would head out first thing and do a 2 hour hike around Courthouse Rock almost every morning. This included Bell Rock one of the most popular Vortices in the area and visible from both front and back porches. My boyfriend found some of the best biking in the area on Hiline trail also only 2 blocks from the house (via slim shady trail). The Village of Oak Creek has everything you could possibly need and much much less traffic and confusion than Sedona. There are restaurants, coffee shops, bike rentals, a grocery store and strangely almost most important an Ace hardware (2 blocks from the house where I got my head lamp to do the full moon hike up to the saddle of Cathedral rock). It really is the perfect house in the perfect location. PS. The back yard is fenced so letting my pup out was a breeze and she frequently just hung out there after our hikes and waited for me to grab a drink and join her.see more

Desert Flower Luxury Townhome II
Great location! Quiet and close to Uptown Sedona.

The townhome is located in a street with nearby services and great amenities. 1. Chevron gas station across the property to gas-up before heading home. 2. A local bakery across the street that opens at 7:00 am with warm bread and outside sitting. You can sip your coffee looking at Bell Rock mountain 3. The townhome is located about seven miles from Uptown Sedona, for shopping and more restaurants, although there are closeby restaurants in Oak Creek as well. 4. The amenities make you feel that you're home away from home. It even has a rice cooker. We ate almost all our meals in the townhome. 5. You can see the sunset from the kitchen window and the sunrise in the second-floor balcony. 6. Phil was a super host who answered all my questions either via email or text messaging in five minutes. I definitely recommend this property to anyone out there still deciding to book. You will not regret your stay.see more
