Arizona holidays

Arizona is a mash-up of Native American, Mexican and American cultures. With college towns sprinkled between major metropolises like Tucson and Phoenix, this state possesses a most unique identity. Much of the state is made up of wild, rugged, untamed terrain that takes on a majestic and spiritual quality in the sprawling Sonoran Desert. There is plenty in Arizona to attract both nature lovers and those who prefer the comforts and amenities of civilisation, from campgrounds in Arizona to the bright lights of Phoenix.

Some of Arizona's most famous attractions include:

  • The Grand Canyon: Arizona's signature attraction is the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, which attracts millions of visitors every year and is one of America's most iconic and incredible nature sites. It is the most popular of the many Arizona National Parks in the state.
  • Tonto Natural Bridge: The world's largest natural travertine bridge, Tonto Natural Bridge is located about 10 miles north of the city of Payson and offers one of the most unique viewing experiences in the continental United States.
  • Phoenix: A cosmopolitan oasis in the midst of Arizona's deserts, Phoenix buzzes with cultural events, museums, theatres, professional sports and brims with southwestern pride. If you're bringing the family on your trip, remember that many of the amusement parks in Arizona are located in the greater Phoenix area.
  • Monument Valley: Located in the Navajo Nation near the Arizona-Utah border, Monument Valley is home to the state's starkest and most unique desert landscapes.
  • World-class golf courses: Some of the country's best-reviewed and most scenic golf courses are located in Arizona, and with year-round warm weather, anytime is the perfect time to get your game on. Golf Arizona packages are widely available through online and traditional travel agencies.

Arizona's hot, dry climate makes it a perfect place to visit any time of year. Getting a cabin or a condo holiday rental for your stay in Arizona is a smart alternative to renting a hotel room. These accommodations offer more space and privacy, and they are widely available whether you want to rough it in the wilderness or base your visit in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson or any of the state's other major cities.

If you want to explore the surrounding area, remember that Arizona borders Mexico to the south. You can also head into neighbouring California, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico or Colorado by using Arizona's easily accessible Interstate highway system.

Cozy Studio w/ WiFi, Resort Pool & Spa, Near Hiking Trails & More!
If I had it my way, I'd never leave! Studio was far better than I imagined.

Not only the studio was cozy and clean, but the easy to walk to areas in and around the resort was perfect. So many great shops near by and a beautiful park within the resort. Just outside Los Abrigados resort onto Portal lane, across the street, there you'll find more little shops. One in particular, Cream and Cake couture is by far my most favorite place for sweets. I had to go back for seconds on the ice cream. I highly recommend that place. If you plan on visiting Sedona, Los Abrigados is the perfect vacay getaway, with everything you could need and want without feeling like you need more. But it just gets better, there is a lot more! Great food within the resort. Fun family activities, pet- friendly, even a spa! Also, if you're in the mood for a mouth watering burger, I recommend, Spoke n' Wheel. The best burger of my life, you won't regret.see more
Cozy Cub Log Cabin - Private 1 Acre/Large Deck/Rustic/Quiet/Private Wooded Land
Wonderful time

Had a great time, the wife and I couldn't get off the front porch! While the cabin might be a little small, the surroundings made up for it! Pinetop has grown so much since I lived there in the early 1990s. Even Charley Clarks prime rib was delicious as I remember it! Back to the porch, we are from Sierra Vista AZ and the porch offered a great place to sit back, smell the fresh air, read a book, or just sit and enjoy! I highly recommend this property to my friends!see more
Tucson Desert Home 2 Acres Saguaro National Park West 5 Minutes To Desert Museum
The desert for a dutchman

Our country is green with a lot rainy day's, so what wil it be to live in the desert for a few day's? It was a big surprice to see this house in the middle of desert plants, to look out of the windows and to see there is nothing more than desert. This was were we came for. The house itself was a big surprise aswell with a luxury kitchen with all spices you need for cooking and a real kingsize bed, I think 7 feet long. In the evening we heard the coyotes, at night me be there were little pigs around and in the morning a hair came along. Even the honey bird came along, so this is as nature belongs te be. We did a fabulous hick from king canyon to the top of the mountain, where we could see the whole town of Tucson. We did the desert museum and the other day the Sabina Conyon. So now we know how it is to be in the desert, thank you very muchsee more
Desert Morada Casita I: 2 Bedroom 1 Bath Dog Friendly maximum 2-NO OTHER PETS
Casita I

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the organization. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, soap, coffee, and tea. We loved having a washer and dryer. The king sized beds offered a great night’s sleep. The courtyard and pool were well maintained and beautiful. We highly recommend and plan to return on our next visit to Tucson.see more
Historic Downtown Carriage House Apartment
Quiet apartment in the heart of downtown Flagstaff

Perfect location that is walking distance from everything, but just far enough away from the loud spots so you can sleep in peace and quiet once you're done for the evening. The host is nearby and will make sure you have whatever you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Will definitely drop in again.see more

Beautiful & Surreal Stay

We stayed at this beautiful guest home after our trip to Zion, Bryce, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and Grand Canyon. It was the perfect last leg. Upon walk in, we felt so welcomed by the music, cool AC, calming decor, warm lighting, and snacks. This truly felt like a spa & i immediately wished we had more than two days. Kristen thought of everything to make our stay incredible - this is not like other AirBnB’s! The place was extremely clean, private, and included details & directions to ensure we felt comfortable. I couldn’t recommend this place more.see more
