“Perfect Home - Away From Home” The bar has been set with this home rental which all other home rentals will be compared to with the little touches provided that makes a home rental enjoyable, such as the welcoming holiday decorations around since the rental was right after the new year or if you need some tape or scissors, you'll find it. I originally rented the house to accommodate my 2 daughters and our spouses for a family wedding, but it ended up with just myself and one daughter and found house just as accommodating for two as it would be for 6. The kitchen is fully stocked and complete, even with cookbooks and if you wanted to do full bore cooking and baking, which is possible with everything available and only need to bring in the fresh items. We were there the first week in January and it was still a bit chilly late afternoons and evening to enjoy the backyard views from the back porch or covered tent, but thoroughly enjoyed the easy to use gas fireplace. There is an easy walking/hiking trail that runs along the ridge in the back of the house and may see a Quail family scurrying along and numerous hummingbirds as my daughter did on her walk. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood in the foothills of northern Tucson and is within a few minutes from the Foothills Mall, where you'll find retail stores, restaurants and movie theatres, but should plan on extra time when traveling to see the attractions in and around Tucson. I would recommend seeing the Biosphere 2 (www.b2science.org/‎) which is about a 30 minute drive (24 miles) from the house.

“A dream come true” We checked it out on the internet and saw all the rave reviews, and they were all positive and rightly so! The house, the terraces, the view, the amenities, the hosts, the humming birds, everything was as described. We had a wonderful time (a whole week!) and Bisbee was a delight, great place, great vibe, what can I say? Oh yes, the local beer, if you haven't been, try it out, 7 different flavors. And all those great places to eat. The one drawback is climbing all those steps from Brewery Gulch up the hill after eating and drinking! But I'd do it again any day! Highly recommended!

“Beautiful resort feel!” We'd never rented such a large place before but since we had a larger than normal group [8 people] we wanted to be able to spread out a little. Great call! The house was huge...And in a great neighborhood...And close to everything we wanted/needed. The walk-in closet in the master bedroom was larger than my bedroom at home...the master bedroom was larger than my first house! The master bath was very large and well appointed with the steaming hot tub right outside with a nice privacy wall. The gourmet kitchen [complete with Sub Zero and Viking appliances offered everything a group of [self appointed] cooks could ask for. The back yard was so cool with views of the mountains and a perfect heated pool/waterfall/slide. To mention that the house was immaculately clean and that the communication with the owner was beyond expectations almost seems a given, but I know from experience that it is not to be taken for granted. Guy and Dixie have a well refined process for everything from rate quotes to move in to move out...and everything in between. It made for a most enjoyable visit to Paradise Valley with no surprises [except the good kind!] We will most certainly return.

“Stunning View” When we walked into the cabin (which seems more like a home), we were taken by the unique furniture and how cozy it felt. We stayed with another couple and were so comfortable, not like you are on top of each other. Town was not far away nor were the hiking trails. The view from the back deck was beautiful with the sky changing every hour. The owner happened to be in the area so we got to meet her - What a gracious woman. We are definitely going to come back for a visit!

“Almost Perfection” Talahogan, which my wife found while hunting on the Internet has raised our love of the red rocks of Sedona to a level higher than we thought possible. Last year was our second trip to Talahogen and our sixth to Sedona, We love the peacefulness of the western part of Sedona, and the house, on top of a quiet mesa, affords unmatched views of many of the signiture formations. Ron has done wonders with landscaping the mesa to keep it natural, yet usable. It allows use to be ourselves, on our own schedule. We love to hike and Doe Mesa is a ten minute drive. The center of town is ten minutes in the opposite direction. Two of our favorite canyons are almost walking distance. The house is the best [part as it optimizes the views. The core is a ninety year old hunting lodge that Ron has remodeled, giving the great room a 270 degree panarama. The kitchen is wonderful, as is the hot tub on the patio, The artificial stream lures wildlife, and we could spend a week just watching the quail and deer. Simply put, we love the place and plan to make a yearly trip there as long as Ron makes it available.
