“A great place for all ages”

Reviewed 29 Aug 2016

We had a wonderful week in Wales last week. We had family ranging from 18 months to 85 years young and the house was great for all of us. Linda, Delyth and Glynn were fantastic and answered all of my questions and were only a text away. The area is just amazing. We did go on a few walks and saw 2 of the quarries. The view was amazing. The older children loved the walk. Its not for those who struggle to walk and not for very young children. (The walk that is, not the house) The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The bar area was just fab and the dressing up box was well used along with the accents we attempted with each item. :) I have given 4* just because I think there's a bit updating to do in the bathrooms. However, if the place was immaculate then we would have worried with having small children running around the place so its swings and roundabouts i guess. The garden was great and as the weather was so great the kids had a water fight in the garden and really enjoyed it. We could hear the resident owl in the tree in the garden along with what sounded like a family of foxes and a toad in the garden. We didn't see Bear Grylls but believe he was filming in the nearby quarry the day before we arrived. Do some research on the quarry as its quite a read. The horses greeted us every morning, Porthmadog was a 30 min drive, so was Criccieth and they are worth a visit. The rabbit farm was great for kids and adults as was the quad biking in porthmadog- well worth a visit! All in all, we had a great time. Thanks to all :)

Thank you for your lovely review It sounds like you had a great time The bathrooms are programmed to be revamped before Christmas now that things have quiet ended down
