Sway

The New Forest is a region of astounding natural beauty, boasting ancient woodlands, large open heathlands, picturesque water-ways and miles of cycle paths and walks. There are plenty of welcoming, friendly pubs, and restaurants in the area, offering hearty traditional fayre, and locally brewed ales. All around the Forest you will come across the ponies, donkeys and cattle that graze freely on the great expanse of heather and grass land. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to spot some of the shyer inhabitants, the deer, who try their best not to be seen against the back ground of rolling heathland and deciduous forest. Here are a few of the nearby things to do and see:-Beaulieu Motor Museum-Beaulieu Abbey-St Barbes Art Gallery and Musuem-Highcliffe Castle-New Forest Museum and visitor centre at Lyndhurst-Titanic Museum Southampton-Cinemas at Southampton and Bournemouth-Aquarium in Bournemouth-Shopping in Southampton or Bournemouth-Sammy Miller Motor Museum in New MIlton-Recreation Centres in Lymington, New Milton, Applemore and RingwoodOut door with indoor options-Longdown Activity Farm-Otter and Owl Sanctuary-Crabbing at Milford on Sea-Fishing trips from Lymington-Day trips to the Isle of Wight-Trips to the Neeedles IOW-Hurst castle/ Keyhaven-Bucklershard, Beaulieu-Lymington Saturday Street Market-Sea Water Baths at Lymington Marina-New Forest Open Air Bus tours-New Forest Reptile Centre-Cycle paths through out the New Forest/ Cycle Experience in Brockenhurst-Moors Valley Country Park-Poultons Park theme Park near Romsey....Visit Peppa Pig!-River cruises at Christ church-Sandy beaches at Bournemouth, Hengistbury head, Highcliffe and Southbourne-Shingle beaches at Milford on Sea and Barton on Sea-Calshot Activity centre - sailing, canoeing, skiing and more!-Snowtrax Outdoor Activity Centre, at Hurn - Skiing, snowboarding, doughnut rides and more.-Alice and Wondrland theme park, Hurn-Swimming Pools at Southampton and Bournemouth, Lymington, Romsey Rapids, Ringwood.-Splashdown waterpark at Tower park Poole-Bowling at Southampton and Bournemouth-Day trips to Winchester, and London.
