“Fantastic coastal location for this lovely cottage”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2018

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend for Easter and what a wonderful stay we had. The location is amazing - on a small family farm with access to the Pembrokeshire coastal path only 5 minutes away. The owners made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. We also had Easter biscuits, mini eggs and fresh milk to greet us! The cottage is cosy and very well equipped. There is an outside balcony overlooking the breathtaking sea views. The coastal walks in each direction are some of the best we’ve walked and are not strenuous. We would definitely recommend this cottage for an amazing rural retreat but which is only 15 minutes walk to St David’s which has a variety of small shops and restaurants as well as the well known Cathedral.

Owner's reply: HI Christine, Thank you for the lovely review, we really appreciate it. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our little cottage and the surrounding area. We are incredibly lucky to have such stunning scenery on our doorstep and you are right about the amazing coastal walks. Please do come back and see us again sometime. Best wishes, Christine & Rob

“Beautiful views and great location”

Reviewed 5 Feb 2018

Beautiful little cottage, and perfect for couples. Nicely decorated and very cosy. It was spotlessly clean too. We go to Saint David’s often but this was by far our favourite stay. The cottage has everything you need, and is in a great place. Close to the middle of St David’s, but lovely and secluded. Has wonderful views over the sea. We could bring our dog too, which was a massive bonus for us. So peaceful, and the walk down to the beach along the coastal path everyday was great. The owners are friendly and helpful. Great hosts. I will definitely book again this year. It’s perfect. Only wish we had booked to stay longer. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Owner's reply: So glad you enjoyed your stay at our little cottage. Would be lovely to welcome you again sometime. Best wishes Christine & Robert

“Amazing location”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2017

What a beautiful place in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, well equipped and a stone's throw from a beautiful bay and the coastal path. Christine and Rob were relaxed and helpful hosts. We loved the family dog greeting us on our return from walks and giving the pigs a scratch (and potato peelings).

“Wonderful and Refreshing”

Reviewed 23 Apr 2017

This was our second visit to sweet, perfectly formed Cariad Cottage and it was every bit as lovely as the first. Just love it! It's location to the coastal path is just a short walk across a couple of fields and St. Davids is less than five minutes away in the car. I was always given to believe that it rained a lot in Wales, but the weather was glorious and really accentuated the unspoilt beauty of the coast and countryside. We walked and walked and relaxed.
