Owner's reply: We are delighted your birthday celebrations went so well and you all had a lovely time. The Cottage does look small from the outside and is quite deceptive. We are pleased you liked the welcome tray. We have always listened to feedback to make sure we provide most items people will need for enjoyable stay. You are correct opening the back gate and watching the narrow boats going by and looking at the views is very relaxing, and the walks along the tow path are very pretty and enjoyable. In the summer being able to sit in the garden which is a bit of a sun trap with a glass or two is very relaxing and peaceful, you will have to come back in the warmer weather. It sounds like you and your family enjoyed the experience and I hope one day you will be able to return. Thank you for your kind words.
