“Brilliant one of the best.”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2018

Perfect location for us with direct access to the canal, pub 5 minutes and co-op 10 minutes walk. The cottage is one of the best we have ever stayed in (welcome pack appreciated) beautiful and warm (which I find important). We intended to do walking during our stay and we weren’t disappointed, Fran a wonderful lady took us on a walk to Malham Cove which was absolutely beautiful, thanks for putting us in touch Nick. We did a walk to Skipton along the canal bank which was great. We shall return as there is so much more we would like to do and the cottage was a joy to stay in.

Owner's reply: We believe the location is ideal for discovering the best that Yorkshire has to offer. Likewise apart from the wine, the welcome pack is made up from local Fayre. Thank you for mentioning Fran she loves taking people on walks and she enjoyed her cup of tea with you. I hope it is not long before you or recommendations visit us again. Thank you for your lovely review.

“Beautiful cottage.”

Just spent three very relaxing days in this beautiful cottage. What a terrific find! Lutinbell cottage is spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The property is very well equipped and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. The welcome tray of goodies was a lovely gesture and really appreciated! The direct access to the Leeds Liverpool canal was also a bonus! The wood burners complete with logs were especially magical with a glass of wine on a cold February night! Location is ideal for visiting attractions in the area and we really enjoyed Skipton Castle (a must do) and Bolton Abbey Estate with its beautiful walks. We even managed to pay a visit to the Bronte’s at nearby Howarth. The White Lion pub, just 2 minutes walk away, served good food and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend this lovely place and we will definitely be back!

Owner's reply: Good morning Denise, I am delighted you enjoyed our cottage, we aim to give our guests a real home from home feel, and it sounds like we have managed to do that. It is always helpful to have such positive feedback. I do hope you will return in the future, and have a chance to visit other areas of interest. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on line. Until the next time, take care.

Arrived on a Friday night for a weekend break, expecting to find a small cottage, pleasantly surprised to find high ceilings and large rooms full of character and a very homely feeling. Kitchen / dining room is huge, and cooked up a full English on the Saturday morning using a very well equipped kitchen. A very short walk to the pub, and the town being just a stones throw away. The Cottage (don't be fooled, it is a house) sits on the canal with the moors a walk across a bridge and meadow, note to self, bring fishing gear next time. A brill place for a weekend get away, just ran out of days to do stuff, not stuff to do.So book a week at least. As Arnie said, I'll be back The Cottage was clean throughout, Egyptian cotton everything, fireplaces in the kitchen and living room, used the living room one with enough wood supplied for our stay, heated the place so did not get to use the kitchen one. Even found some rhubarb growing in the garden which we had with some local apples one evening. Only one slight grumble, door way to kitchen on the low side, being 6'2" I had to take care, other half was OK at 5'6" Other than that we had a great time. 5*'s from us Micky

Owner's reply: Thank you. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and we hope to welcome you back again. Sandra
