Spent a week here in rainy February with my wife and dogs and we loved it. Only five minutes walk into town down the main road or five minutes to Morrisons Supermarket over the canal. Kitchen well equipped but small. The washing machine came in handy since some of the walks we did where rather muddy. A tumble dryer and freezer was located in a out building through a small but secure back yard. Large bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space and a comfy bed. Even though it was at the front of the cottage we heard no traffic noise. Stairs to the 1st level are steep but caused us no problems. The only down side was the large bathroom, it only had a small bath with no proper shower. Even though it was cold in February the cottage was warm, we even had to turn the heating down. Overall a nice cottage which we would recommend, and it certain did.
