We've all seen Shipping Container homes, but how many of us can say we've actually stayed in one? Built from recycled shipping containers, these simply amazing, durable, iron boxes were once used to ship just about anything imaginable around the globe by land and sea.

Now, with a new lease on life, FLOPHOUZE has transformed these containers into unique, comfortable, cozy living spaces. Come. Stay. you won't want to leave.

This particular unit can accommodate 3 people comfortably with a queen size bed and a full size couch. They are cooled by two top of the line split level a/c units and can get as cool or as warm as you'd like. Our luxury linens are from Pandora de Baltazar and our plush towels are from Matteo Los Angeles. We've provided a chemex in your unit to give you the ultimate best cup of coffee by our local friends Hunter Bean Roasters. There are vynil record players in every unit along with a huge selection from some of the greatest artist of all time- Everything from Elvis to AC/DC. In the living area you will find a pile of amazing books to read as well. There are fire pits and hammocks outside to relax in at your leisure...and cows, quite a few cows...that may come by and say hi from their side of the fence. The property is shared with our 12,000 sqft store Recycling the Past packed to the brim with treasures as well so there is plenty to explore and do without ever even leaving the property.

For the most part this is a non-hosted property. Matt likes to give his guests space. There are many times he will be traveling to go find more worldly treasures and trinkets, so you may have the place all to yourself. We have no rules- just reallllly strong suggestions!
Keep it to a low roar till 11 - then use sign language. Good dogs are welcome. Additional $25 per animal. If you have an animal please let us know so that we can charge accordingly. Keep your area clean… its the country and critters are curious. We must obey the burn bans - if it's NO, it's NO, but we can have bonfires then marshmallows and smores for all! We like to respect our guests wishes by not allowing smoking within 10 ft of the houzes.
