“This rental was way above the norm in providing all we needed or wanted.” We took our 9 and 12 year old grandsons here and enjoyed our stay so much. The house is beautifully remodeled with everything you could possibly need and one block to the beach. Very clean and decorated just right. Good beds, great A/C, TVs in both bedrooms, washer dryer and wifi. Will definitely come back again.

“Excellent Property!” A group of 14 family and friends was looking for a property to stay at for a few days before our cruise left. This exceeded our needs and expectations! Each of us got our own huge bedroom and the 3 bathrooms worked well. The huge modern kitchen attached to the open living room space allowed an area to all hang out. The backyard was well put together to enjoy the sunshine. It was greatly apprecated that we could stay a few hours longer when the ship was late arriving.

“Beach Paradise” Another great vacation rental from Port A Escapes. Just as the pictures show, the house is light and airy with plenty of comfortable options for watching tv or curling up with a good book. The location was ideal, being far enough from town that the beaches felt like a private oasis. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

“Well worth it - Great Experience!” I had to come to Houston for medical treatment and did not want to stay in a 'blah' hotel room where everything is always the same. . I am so happy that we choose the Museum House. It's contemporary but also warm. It's big but also cozy. Just hard to describe. We just loved to be surrounded by all the original art works and the high ceiling with all the natural light. Although it had a wonderful kitchen, we were more into discovering some wonderful restaurants in the neighborhood. Hans was very helpful with his recommendations and I enjoyed sharing my afternoon coffee with him on the terrace by the pool - Check in and checkout was easy, the place was spotless and we really appreciated the beautiful welcome basket and personal attention.. We only used the Versace Bed - and it was heaven. We promised to come back and take a swim and use the hot tub during our next stay. This place is not a cheap rental but a jewel and an experience. It's well worth it and can only highly recommend the Museum House rating: +++.

“Review for SC” It was a good home overall. The patio furniture and patio were beat and should be trashed and the patio area was dirty. Also the landscaping was overgrown and blocked the walkways. Otherwise the house was great.

“Intrepid Beach House” Our stay was great but the weather did not cooperate, with a hurricane in the gulf... but we made the best of the our time there. The close proximity to the beach was nice and the distance away from the busy side of Galveston was great. No noise! The house was spacious, clean, and inviting.
