Description

Hackford Hall is a grade 2 listed Georgian Mansion Hall with earlier 16th Century origins. It is situated in 32 acres of its own landscaped grounds and approached via it's own long sweeping driveway. Hackford Hall is the primary property in the area, with a wealth of history as the ancient seat of the Lord of the Manor of Hackford, which encompasses half of the beautiful nearby market town of Reepham. Reepham has been the local market town since 1277 and in that time Hackford Hall has seen many famous inhabitants call it home.

The property benefits from numerous leisure facilities including; an indoor heated swimming pool with separate men and women changing rooms (showering / wc facilities) as well as a small gym, a fully equipped games room (with pool table and table tennis), an excellent all-weather full size tennis court & lawn area suitable for croquet.

Naturally, Hackford Hall boasts wonderful period features throughout the house. There is a fabulous entrance hall, with open fireplace, oak flooring. This room is ideal as an entertainment / party room or simply somewhere to breakaway from others in the house. The manor house has a wonderful modern huge fully equipped bespoke fitted kitchen. There is an elegant large dining room with seating for everyone around one table, as well as a massive reception/TV room, containing 50" flatscreen 'smart' TV with internet access. This room has soft seating for all to relax and congregate in. The house also benefits from broadband access (and parental controls). On top of this is a number of separate smaller rooms utilised as boot rooms, cloak rooms, utility rooms etc.

There is a most relaxing conservatory which houses the games room. Of course, there is ample parking.

Hackford Hall is designed with your large family holiday or gathering for that special occasion in mind. It is ideal for that large gathering, be it a formal special occasion, such as a birthday, anniversary, or simply somewhere for you and your family and friends to all be under one fabulous roof to enjoy life together.

New for 2017 is the addition of the annex which can sleep up to a further 6 people in addition to the house that sleeps up to 28. The annex is above the swimming pool complex (about 70 metres from the main house) and has: a lounge with 2 x double sofa beds; a walk through bedroom with 2 x single beds; a small kitchen with coffee and tea facilities; and a bathroom with shower. The whole annex is open plan so ideal for families or good friends.

“Fantastic Fun Family Retreat”

We came in from the United States for a family wedding that was nearby in Norwich. We had 23 adults and 2 babies at the beginning of our stay and throughout the week widdled down to about 12. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean and the grounds are kept up nicely with beautiful plants. Plenty of activities and board games were available for our use. We all used the indoor pool and enjoyed nightly BBQ cookouts on the patio. There was plenty of space for everyone and would highly recommend this gorgeous English Manor for family reunions, parties, and weddings.
